The comment about 90% teaching vs 10% talking about yourself and your perspectives. I’ve leaned HEAVY on teaching bc I have so much information in my head that I know will be helpful but I hold back on my personality or perspective bc that’s more vulnerable and I was perceiving it as less valuable. So as I make content going forward, I’ll open up a bit more with my stories and perspectives. Thank you! 💚

Thank you Ajit! My biggest take aways were the idea of "micro-serving" through posts, and the idea of storytelling creating a sense of humanity and relating. I have struggled with becoming a coach as the "salesiness" felt incredibly ego driven. I was an Expressive Arts therapist and Art teacher and have determined this is my calling, to combine those things and serve through the power of creativity. This episode above many others that I have listened to has solidified the concept of self-acceptance and service through my lens. Many thanks!

What a fantastic interview with Jason. Thank you Ajiti there were so many gems of wisdom. I am in this exact position I have created a course 7 Steps to Heal Yourself from IBS. I did not know how to see if my content was relevant. The idea of 30 facebook lives is daunting but a brilliant way to see if I resonate with my audience.. I love the story of the hair cut I am also very short sighted and always wonder what my hair will look like when I put my glasses back on. I love the analogy that it will grow back and will use this with my clients❤.

The premise of creating content with the intention of how it makes the consumer of the content feel really resonates with me and reminds me of a well known saying from Maya Angelou - "People won't always remember what you said, but they will always remember the way you made them feel". I think this point of wanting to create a feeling with your content more than always focusing on having a new profound insight, not only removes the perceived weight that approach drops onto the creator, but also encourages the writer to put more of themselves into the content because the focus changes from the head to the heart. Really great video. Tons of value, AND the playful, casual interview style between the two of you produced so much ease around the topic.

Loving the synchronicity of this! This just popped up in my feed after I posted a video called "People in the Travel Industry Need to Hear This" - where the key message was that the folks from the industry I used to work in - would benefit most from learning how to make content during this time of fluctuating travel (A bit of backstory - I was a Dubai-based flight attendant for most of my twenties, and then when I came back to Australia to resume a career in communications and marketing, no one would hire me 😬 and of course, it totally made sense: even though I had a matching degree, my work experience didn't match the roles I was gunning for. So in a bid to still work in marketing, I started a KZbin channel - which didn't only catapult me into the marketing industry - it changed my life and introduced me to a whole new world of scaled impact. It was through this that i realised the *_power_* of communicating through content!) So now - both through practice and experience, I cannot help but share how life-changing this one skill is. Kudos to this video for unpacking the elements of content creation!

This was lovely and interesting to watch. Wanted to inquire.. I am just going to start posting content... For a newbe like me, using Facebook live or dropping a video on Facebook... which one will sink in more to my audience
@mindvalleycoach4 жыл бұрын
Great question, Leilah! Both ways work, but it'll depend on your audience, so the only way to really know is to try! However, do keep in mind, a Facebook live is great for engagement with your audience but you need an audience to watch you live for it to work at its best. If you're just getting started and don't have followers yet, it might be best to start posting content to build an audience before going live. If you do have some audience already, you can go ahead and try both, and see which works best for you (or both!). Hope this helps :)
