"We are tools, Neferata. You call us sisters, but we are but pieces on your game-board. You collect us and hoard us, and sometimes you spend us. Sometimes you spend us for ambition. Other times, it is for spite. And we love you for it, because we cannot help but to do so. You unmake us as easily as Nagash's crown threatened to unmake you, and remake us in your image." -Naaima to Neferata on the nature of the Lahmian Sisterhood

I always thought that the Strigoi were the "rarest" and least likely to give the blood kiss/most selective of giving the blood kiss solely because the Strigoi do not WANT to give the blood kiss, ever... Because they "hate what they are and do not want others to suffer like them." Kinda admirable in its own way.

2:58:11 saying this, with the old world bringing back unique army list, a lahmian thrall list for Britannia, the 3 empire factions, and or Kislev would be criminal to not make (maybe in white dwarf) even though they said they are not doing vampire counts, as all you need is just one vampire model to add to your human army.

2:26:58 I have a book at howm that basically puts several Genevieve stories into a single cover. I wish they would be put into the book in chronological order, because the way it is now it kind of spoilers some twists of the later stories, but it also contains some like ... spin-off shortstories about the characters who appear in Genefieve centered stories. Like ... I currently got a to a story about a copper and a seer hunting a serial killer called "the Warhawk". Which picks of at the point in the Genevieve story when the Great Enchanter's mask developed a life of it's own, possessed a person and went to Altdorf to take revenge on her. There the mask switched person, the original guy then, in rags and totally maimed, only the mask itself kept him going, was attacked by said Warhawk.

I would have liked Sotek to delve deeper into the Lahmia vs Tzeentch hipotethical novel because it has a lot of potential, just think about situations like a thrall of the lahmian being sent into the cult as a spy, but of course his soul keeps getting corrupted over time, so to what degree can he be trusted by the vampire? Maybe he develops a double personality one loyal to each side, or he gets so crazy he doesnt even know to which side he trully belongs. And the same in the other way, the cult manages to get one of their own to receive a blood kiss, but has he becomes a vampire he doesnt really "feel" the objectives of his cult anymore... Maybe members of the cult plot against each other and use the vampire as an "executioner"... So many possibilities.

If they add Lahmians to TW3, it would be cool if they couldn’t recruit like normal armies but instead have to get thralls from other factions in a way similar to building allied outposts that they get based on espionage into other faction politics

It would make them incredibly slow to get going and looking at how the game is developing Slow game plans are bad

I think you mentioned in the past how Tomb Kings are probably way stronger than vampires. With how much you two point to the strenght if the vampires, I wondered if you missspoke or if thats really the case, that they are even more impressive. I would be interested to learn in what ways.

My favourites among the vampires would have to be the Strigoi, which is why I rather tend to dislike Neferata. For all her great plans, goals and manipulation, she does seem to be quite petty. Despite that, I can respect the Lamhians achievements, although to me all this talk about how they guide the events of the world seems dangerously close to humans never actually having done anything of note on their own and always just being playthings for higher forces (ignoring the human specific gods), which I dislike. Of course it happens a lot, but hopefully not all the time. Despite all the grimmness of the Warhammer world, I still want humans to be able to reach greatness on their own, despite their failings.

Interesting thought I hadnt really considered. Chaos worshippers using the symbols or names of the dark powers to ward off vampires the same way sigmarites, or other faiths can. Also nice to see nagash being petty enough to specifically mention sigmar's symbol and name. As in a lot of other fiction it is simply "faith" or "belief" that can ward off vamps. Like in The Dresden files.

I suggested Eltharion because the three I would have suggested to fight Vlad were Tirion, Malakith, and Settra who you have done already and I remember hearing he was the second most broken character for the high elves and thought it would be a good match. Mind you I'm far more familiar with 40k than Fantasy so if I was wrong on that sorry but who would you recommend other than another Vampire? One of the Dragon Siblings or a Greater Deamon?
@residentfacehead34653 ай бұрын
Dragon kids are probably a bit out of Vlads reach. Maybe Sigvald or Alberich?

I reckon that grail knights (hero level among them) would be a match in martial skill against vlad, but yet again, vlad is an incredible mage and would get them close to death before getting close + many de-buffs.

@mk_gamíng06093 ай бұрын
I really dislike how they try and weaken the sisterhood with characters like Kattarin, It undermines the Lahmian lore They are meant to be the united bloodline So you mentioning how common it is for them to go rogue it really really ruins that
