Then around 20 years ago after 9/11 and the invention of PCSOs all you had to do was take a photo in any town centre and some bozo in dayglow would on you like a tramp on a dropped chip. Ten years of this idiocy went by and Dept Ch Officer Andy Trotters all police authorises notification came out saying photography is not a crime and common sense seemed to prevail. So much so that most auditors now need to stand outside police stations to get a bite, so I thought things were getting better. The next time I visit my home country the UK, I will walk around with my stupid iPhone gaffer taped to my chest, then drop the borrowed half-filled cigarette pack. The pack will be attached to me by some very strong fishing line, I will then walk two steps away. I'm wishing that one of the scruffy uniformed persons who loiter the High St. areas will come over and inform me I've dropped something. Or will they just try and nick me. I never really enjoyed shopping and after my last visit to the UK a year ago I hate it, department stores don't have stockrooms, so it was impossible for me to buy more than the three V necked white Tee shirts in my size that were on the rack. The assistant kindly informed me I could go on-line, but then I'm staying at a hotel, and I have tried the on-line game before and ended up returning the stuff, as it was the wrong size, colour, style than that ordered on the on-line form. On one occasion I bumped into some long-lost friends and we were having a catch-up chat. When the goon arrived and instructed us to move on, at the time we were about to visit a bar/restaurant within the mall. But as the goon instructed us without first asking if he could help. We took our hard-earned cash to an old side street pub and enjoyed spending it.

Filming so openly is hardly a logical reason for security to be suspicious. Anyone with bad intentions would be more covert. A cappuccino would have helped though.
@valentinius623 жыл бұрын
But filming openly may be that you're pretending to be honest, while really you're up to something, but hiding that fact in plain sight. These guys can't avoid the suspicious argument as long as they have a camera out. I wonder how many tourists get harassed? 🤔

Dress them up in black and give them a yellow vest and look what happens. Coincidently, I use to be in charge of a group of cleaners in a large open mall in Brisbane, Australia. There were local laws that prohibited cyclists riding through the mall. The cleaners had been in the habit to take it upon themselves to act as police until I reminded them of their true calling.

@@smithbrownjones barristers are often wrong. Common sense is all that’s required to prove that. While they are permitted some flexibility in setting rules there is no power as such to remove AB on the basis of trespass and the matter is entirely civil. Again you are confusing criminal and civil trespass. Go ask a real lawyer instead of watching nonsense ideological promotional material.
