"You're never too old to learn Snips" Darth Vader who is old learned from his son Luke
@slewone4905 Жыл бұрын
What made vader is what saved him. People need to understand, Dark side is no evil. Love is a dark side trait. Jedi is forbidden in romantic love for that reason. strong attachments could cloud judgement of what is best. vulcan logic, The many is greater than the few or one. But love is opposite of that. The one is more important than everyone else. People need to understand, the opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. Love and hate are both passion. Love proceeded hate. His love of his mother led to a sandpeople genocide. Love for his wife led to joining the dark side. But love for his son led to his redemption too. This is the question. Baylan did not wish to fight. The lesson partly was that fighting is not the solution for everything. Stop trying to find a war.

The whole "will you live or die" thing really stuck out to me. I think she was likely stuck in a limbo, and Anakin appeared to help her decide whether or not she'd fight against her own death. The reason it was so vivid was probably because the planet was a force nexus similar to Dagobah, considering it was filled with wildlife and had little to no technological influence and was therefore more strongly connected to the force. Meanwhile her body would've been kept alive underwater with the help of the force almost like Vader or Maul when they should've died. Of course this is all speculation from someone who hasn't brushed up on Star Wars lore in years. Tldr: It probably was Anakin's force ghost summoned because Ashoka was on the verge of death and didn't want to continue fighting (aka living).

We need more Anakin and Luke in Disney Star Wars series. The sheer amount of joy these characters bring to the internet (Mando season 2 finale+Book of Boba cameo and this episode of Ahsoka + Obiwan) .. you can just see it in all the fan reaction videos that pop up during those moments. These are the characters fans crave and want to see, and we're seeing a resurgence in love for Hayden where he was unfairly maligned during the prequel era due to Lucas's bad directing skills. An Vader spin off show (with Hayden playing Vader hunting down remnant Jedi with Inquisitors and dealing with the Emperor, along with flashbacks of Anakin) and spinoff Luke show post RoTJ (maybe use Sebastian Stan as the actor with very light deepfake work in post) searching for Jedi and Sith relics and learning to accept both the light and darkside of the force in harmony (and seeing the new republic begin to falter around the edges)... both of these shows would be a literal license to print money for Disney and rekindle passion for Star Wars the likes of which we haven't seen yet. If done properly the Luke series could even go to some lengths to bridge the gap and help repair the story between RotJ and the Sequel Trilogy to help merge it in and retcon some major issues introduced by the sequels. But mostly it would be a love letter to the fans who made SW as popular as it was and the ones with the greatest disposable income to boot.

However in Disney canon it seems they can basically do whatever they want. Now we could assume, that the world between worlds is a special place where the ghosts wield much more power, and thus can manifest as if they were flesh and blood. Wait why is anyone debating this?… Anakin is confirmed to be of the force enlightened as of the end of 6 and 7,8,9. Episode 6 remaster fully confirms he enters the panel with Qui-gon, yoda, obi-wan and the fodder force sensitives. But in episode 9, he’s directly present through the force. We see him as a force spirit and Kylo the entire duration of the third trilogy can sense the sith malice that Anakin left behind on the helmet when he ascended. If he wasn’t still present within the force after dying, he wouldn’t have manifested as a neutral entity and the energy residing on the helmet would have dissipated instead of still being active. See any sith belonging explanation in direct lore. Anakin manifested to Ashoka in this, no different then Vader on dagobah to luke. If you want an example to draw relevance from in how star wars re-uses same imagery to drive the basis that the force repeats itself. Except it’s actually him and not a force projection, because he’s dead and can now act freely within the universe as a force spirit. They do not interfere with the universe aside of that which they are meant to do by the laws of the force. What ties it all together is blind man in rebel one, that gives us canonized late game confirmation that the force as it’s own plot device, within a plot, is truly the reason for everything. No one actually has an individual fate, the force is one big movie that plays out how it wants too. Doesn’t matter who’s involvement. It’s already pre-determined. The force allows them to appear when it is deemed the next set of events, which is why we only see them manifest themselves in times of trial, crisis or resolution. It wouldn’t make sense if it wasn’t actually Anakin anyway, because she would have no divisible lesson to learn in re-living the events. If not for anakin making it clear. The force doesn’t use dead people as a motif, instead it allows that person’s spirit to interact on the mortal place for said purpose they must complete. If Anakin wasn’t dead already, then it wouldn’t be Anakin. But because Anakin is dead, that is indefinitely Anakin because the force would not use an otherwise resting spirit. Meaning anakin, just as yoda, qui-gon, obi-wan; This is how anakin chose to manifest to Ashoka. He directly taught her darkness and in understanding that neutrality, this is why in-turn Ashoka is so powerful.

No she didnt. On malachor she said to him "I wont leave you, not this time." With him responding "then you will die." She NEVER said "I wont fight you".

My gawd why so many people keep saying this. Ahsoka said it to vader last time she saw him and then she fought him. This is a force memory to decide if she lives or dies she was currently drowning in the ocean she didn't teleport to another dimension.

Well yeah, of course we haven’t seen it since the movies, they literally had months each movie to practice and perfect the fights, TV shows get like, a couple weeks to get something put out So of course Hayden and Ewan can bring their skills back, they had A LOT of time to develop those skills, and Hayden seems to have kept up with it to some degree, probably for fun

I myself also think he's the real Anakin, but I also haven't ruled it out completely that Luke simply told her about this moment off-screen and that's how the Anakin "hallucination" knew about it. Unlikely? Yes. Cheap? Hell yes, but it's Disney Star Wars. I've been burned before... If another episode in the WBW doesn't happen and we don't get the answers to the burning questions after this episode, then I think that in itself will be the answer. For now, I am trusting Dave. He's done a great job so far, but you never know... Time will tell!

Wtf of corse he is the real ANAKIN and of course he is aware of his actions, he is literally a type of God now, he can go from the dark side to the light side as he wants, he is the chosen one, everything Anakin did in this episode was coldly calculated by him.
@frname7665 Жыл бұрын
He doesn't go to the dark side. He used an image of him on the dark side to confront Ahsoka to her fears and force her to fight. Anakin as a force ghost is in the light. Not "split" between light and darkness

Anakin also heard that before when her and Vader fought at the temple on Malachor. It COULD be Anakin, but they’re not literally in the WBW because that’d mean Anakin was actually at the siege of Mandalore. But you can’t change the timeline. So it’s probably just a vision, but that’s still good. If it was Anakin, he wouldn’t have turned back to the dark. So maybe it’s the force manifesting itself as Anakin. Or Anakin was just pretending to go dark to teach Ahsoka.

@barbarianjk2355 Жыл бұрын
I think they're actually in WBW, but the Clone Wars part was just a vision of course. Anakin has the role of master guiding his apprentice. He's just too self aware and his reactions are very complex and nuanced. So it's not merely a Vision.
