I don’t know a solution to the choppiness, but I’ve watched 10 mins of the video now and it’s not too bad. It’s noticeable, it doesn’t have a massive impact as a viewer though. I think the fact that the audio is perfect helps.

I just saw a new report of the virus getting quite bad in Green Bay. It was an interview with a doctor in one of your hospitals. I hope that all is well with you, Mrs. Rabbit, extended family, and your employees. I know that at least one of your key employee's family member has some pre-existing health issues that could make her vulnerable. So again, I am thinking of you. We are in Houston and got in trouble early and have really just stayed that way. My husband and I are seniors and have really just hunkered down for months.

It might have something to do with the original size of the entire file. Some Video editing software packages don't like extremely big files. Try splitting the original file into two or three separate chunks. Then try again. Also make sure you do any updates for the video editing software.

If the files are on the desktop, move them in another folder in another Drive, not the drive where the Windows is!

wonder if its the codec what form are you saving it as .avi, .mpg etc? odd that this one would be choppy and all other fine if you are doing the same steps unless a setting was changed

Both were filmed with the same phone and playback fine on the phone and the computer when watching the individual clips.

@@ResaleRabbit I would guess your device recorded those videos with a variable framerate. You may need to transcode them before editing them in your video software, so they have a consistent frame rate. You can read more about this possibility here. It recommends using a free software called handbrake to transcode the videos, which I can vouch for, because I have used it many times. You can check to see if the videos were recorded with a variable framerate, by right clicking them in windows, then going into the properties, and looking inside the video information tab, then looking for frame rate. It may be the frame rate of your camera. If you edit it with windows movie maker, may be okay. Sometimes happens to longer videos too.

Seems to be choppy when you switch to the front camera. If the frame rate on the video is different than the project timeline then it’ll make it choppy like that. I’d play around with the frame rate.

It seems to be a frame rate issue. I wonder if your editing software doesn't convert 60 to 30fps properly? My guess is that your newer footage is 60fps and the rest is 30fps. There might be an option to adapt frame rates depending on the project settings somewhere? That said any editing software I've ever used will convert to the project frame rate automatically. It'd be interesting to see if it still happens with only the old footage

iPhone has this issue when you record at 60 FPS on 4K 2k or 1080 and it will change the resolution of the video when you download it and you don’t have the right plugin for those videos.... it’s happened to me too I called apple and they can’t fix it if you don’t use Mac 🖥
