Күн бұрын

In this episode of the Elliot Hulse Podcast, Uncle Yo invites his father, Edmund Hulse, from whom he learned a vast majority of what his character is today. Edmund expands on several topics, starting from his early life in Belize, fatherhood, and adversity; most importantly, he explains how all those endeavors shaped him and eventually led to shaping Elliot.
In this episode, you will learn:
- Living with a set of rules and values while also being free in your decisions and growth as a man
- How to build a strong family structure
- The role of adversity in the formation of a man’s character
- Having a vision towards your future self, work ethic, fixated goals, and righteousness in the way of living

It is truly incredible to see the similarities in thought and even mannerisms that Elliott picked up from his father. Such a structured man, even when discussing his children he had pre-planned his discipline and structure to ensure his kids would receive equal discipline and love, amazing

Absentee fathers and weak fathers have really hurt several generations of men in the west. My father wasn't in my life until I was in my 30s, I love seeing Edmond talk about raising his kids because I want to be a good man for mine.

Elliott, brother i have been following you for over 10 years and we actually met and took a picture in Sweden on your event a couple of years ago. I rarely comment but I would like to tell you that this conversation with your father is amazing. I see similarities and differences, in Both of you, but one thing is for sure and that is that you are Both STRONG and LOVING individuals. Your father reminds me of my father which is my portal for infinite love in this world. If every father loved their children, provided for them and told them to go out and meet the world head on, this planet would be even more flourishing place. Elliott, i dont agree with all your philosophies, and for that i am grateful. Because this taught me to not idolize people I deeply respect and to have a Voice of myself. You also have been a backbone for me in this world and I hope we Will meet again.

I got to say as a member of 21 days King Initiation I can see where you get your selflessness from. Your father talks about doing everything with love, and 100%. He sacrifices himself and works hard for his family and always watches with a wise eye. I can see after learning from you where you get it from! You want to help us all become the men God wants us to be, and your father also is selfless. You also do everything with love and 100% especially when you make yourself available to us to help us. You also watch us with a wise eye, and step in and help as needed. Please thank your father from me for the amazing interview and thank you E for all you have done for me and all of us! I’m thankful to be learning from men like you! I highly recommend 21 day King Initiation to everyone on here!

I randomly watched Elliot and his dad on stage last week, so I know this will be a gem. I grew up 1 of 5 so my parents didn’t have all the time in the world to instruct us. I never had the best habits, but I feel blessed to be in an internet age where I can look up strong men with strong values that I can apply to my own life. These videos are life savers

Yo Elliott! I've noticed your father uses "righteous" regularly. This is a word and a concept that is greatly lacking in our society and even in many churches, but is critical in the Scriptures. If and when you have your dad on the podcast again, do you think you can get him to talk about "righteousness" and what that looks like fleshed out? Thank you in advance! Also, loved this interview! He reminds me of my grandfather who recently passed. The man can talk for hours...!
