I just bought one of these, and I am gob-smacked at how gorgeous it is. Mine is a Swamp Ash body, with an amber quilted maple top, and a flame maple satin neck, and a Brazilian rosewood figured board. But I might be even more blown away by the electronics in this thing. It has so many pickup configurations. 17 different combinations with 500k and another 17 with 250k. And those MEV humbuckers modeled after Paul’s guitar humbuckers are ridiculous. It has become the dream guitar I never even realized I wanted.

I picked one of these up in Cincinnati. I live in Nashville and I’m fortunate to have quit a few sweet guitars, but the Modern Eagle V is my favorite. The quality of the diversity of this particular guitar in my humble opinion has been thought through carefully. I built a wet dry wet rig for a 3 piece blues rock band and whatever I throw at it, it blows me away. Plays perfectly, sounds amazing and looks beautiful.
