Hey been following the vlog. For a few months and really enjoy it. I'm owner and head coach of CrossFit Belfast (your always welcome if your ever in Northern Ireland) So I have seen you complain about how much you hate running. You need to think of running like a skill like muscle ups etc. You don't always skills practice under fatigue or at maximal intensity. Why? because then the technique breaks down and you don't learn control etc. The same applies to running. If you only ever do running at maximal efforts or in metcons under fatigue your never under control or pacing, breathing, stride, posture etc. Try this really simple workout to see how your pacing is. With a timer set to 1min work 10sec rest for 20rds. The goal is pacing and distance control. Start by setting a cone on the ground Run for 1 min (stop on the spot no moving around) Rest 15sec Run back for 1min you should arrive at the cone exactly at 60secs Rest 15secs repeats for 10rds The goal is to keep hitting the same point at each end. And also not look at your watch. (Courtesy of Chris Hinshaw) I have some more that will help but believe you need to treat running as a skill and practice it outside of wods etc. I have seen huge improvements myself and with some of our athletes doing this specifically the ability to run in metcons under fatigue. All the best Niall

I had the same problem when I started Crossfit I couldn't even complete a 800m. Run without stopping, and I used to saw everyone go past me, that's when I realized I needed to do more. I started running to my box everytime possible, doing sprint courses, and doing some metcons including Barbells, one that I really hated but enjoyed was Backsquats + 400m. Run, my legs felt like damn sandbags the whole time, but in the end it paid off, as a matter of fact I became one of the best runners in my box and I felt like I had completed a huge milestone because I started being the last one in the class almost everytime, and ended as one of the fastest and not getting fatigued with a running workout. Great video💪💪

I was one of those people who watched Jas squat a while ago and went "ouch, she needs to work on keeping her knees out". And now her form is so much better, so she must have really worked on it and it's paying off bigtime! So really good job, Jas!

It takes me usually 30 mins to recover fully from metcons. RIde that threshold for 20mins and then I stay ramped up for the next 30 mins.

I like you and your videos, don't get me wrong for what I'm about to say, but I absolutely hate burpees made that way: feet MAYBE 1mm off the ground (your supposed to f*****g jump you guys!), and just "throwing" the hands up in the air just because (they're supposed to clap for f**k sake!). That being said keep it up.
