I feel like we need to normalize that it should always be worded as ERP, not RP. those are completely different. A lot of people have this idea that RPers are ERPers because of this, when we're not. I don't have anything against ERP, people can do whatever they wanna do, within reason. Not doing it publically or typing inappropriate things in /say /shout /yell chats. One thing that didn't surprise me is them turning out to be a guy, I think a lot of guy players in the ERP scene seem to want to recreate their own fantasy's in a legal way. (of course not all guys are like this, I've actually been told some girls are like this to) I just find some of it a bit concerning at times, despite being ERP, I just think there are limits, such as grape related things and other graphic things. I have been to a venue, not strictly ERP, but there are options involved, as I did somewhat interview a worker there, very polite and honestly they spoke about rules and such and what cannot be done or isn't acceptable etc, so I'm glad there are some ones that aren't too over the top.

My experience with Quicksand "culture" was being trying to legitimately rp with a bard there, being approached by two players and being told that "this isn't really the place where that happens" and being brought somewhere with actual RP, we're still all friends to this day.

I feel like ARR dungeons are harder than any other expac? You have so few abilities and the pulls can be rough and much less linear than they are now. I guess there are one or two in HW and Stormblood that stand out, but for the most part ARR has stuff like Aurum Vale, Dzemael, etc.

Thanks for this fun story! The OP was just so chill and cute! The nightclub scene on Crystal is pretty cool and I learned a while ago just how deep the RP hole can go! It's amazing what you can do with some imagination, collaboration, and a random number generator!

the highlander guy thinking ARR dungeons (presumably before they got updated? but regardless) are "the easiest" is hilarious because of how simple and linear the newer dungeons are by comparison. i used to hate tanking them because even though i'd done them a bunch of times before, sometimes i would still get lost and forget which way to go (especially in totorak). tanking newer dungeons is wayyyy easier, lmfao.
