ok honestly I was part of the onceler fandom- and yeah looking back it's super weird as a concept; but I have never found another more active RP community since. You post or respond to something and if the other person is awake you'd get a reply in like 10 minutes. And the creativity was awesome! All these wildly different versions of this one guy and the asshole version of him. Ghosts, steampunk, King Midas of Seuss with an oil-monster alterego- and the EVENTS like this whole huge group of people just jumping on board to create this huge new story- the Truffula Flu was wILD It was super weird BUT IT WAS SO FUN!!

whenever someone mention the butter crisis my go to answer is usually "oh, yeah, that happened pretty close to when we had to close a tunnel due to the cheese-fire" So for those of you who don't know, caramellized cheese (aka brunost) burns exceptionally well, and a truck of it crashed and then couldn't be put out since it was inside a tunnel, so it burned for 4 days, causing so much damage it took 2 years to fix it.

First one happened when I was hanging out with a buddy of mine and we were talking about how Anonymous likes to use their skills to flex and no sooner did I say that a Ford Flex drives by (we were walking to our respective houses and thus were near the road.) this was weird/funny enough on its own but what drove it over the top was in place of where it usually says Flex instead was the name of the guy driving. A bit later we were talking about graphic design and how companies design their logos to convey certain messages and one of the companies mentioned was Amazon. Sure enough a minute or so later an Amazon van drives past.

5:12 Well.... *actually* the french also stole the herb from another language, notably latin. Which would have pronounced the h. The whole reason why there's an h in herb even though the french word that the english ripped off ("erbe" and yes, I am aware that nowadays the french spell it herbe again but not at the time that the english ripped it off) doesn't have one is because people in the 15th century were like "Technically that word stems from the latin herba, so it should have that h" but then it took people a lot of time to get used to pronouncing that h again and some people just missed out on the trend. Like, sorry, but the fact that you got the word second hand doesn't mean that the stolen version that got frenched all over is suddenly the correct pronounciation.

KJ in Norwegian actually makes a sound similar to SH is English. Kjørte is pronounced sort of like "shorta" (not gonna try to explain the ø). Other than that (and just about every vowel sound) it wasn't too terrible 👍
