Thank you so much! I used Lysol wipes that I had on hand., folded over to about an inch wide, then pulled them to each side like shining and buffing shoes. It took about 4 repeats with fresh wipes. Afterward I used heavy duty paper towels to buff and dry the print head, again repeating until the towels were pretty clean. Finally I ran the printing test and nozzle cleaning utility, three times. Now it prints great again, no more bands of blank printing!

You're "old school".... And I love that!.... It's exactly how I love to do it, or honestly, loved to do it - back in the days (80s, beginning of the 90s) (We're getting old!!!) Watching your honest video helped me to remember that I too can do it....... Thanks!..... BTW - I'm surprised your efforts have been viewed by 3700 men and women, but only got 24 "likes"..... People just don't appreciate practical and real guidance.... Thnx

If you start a test page print, then unplug the printer while printing, the print head will move freely.

Hey Bob . . . is she still working for you? One thing that is not clear . . . . did you push the cartridge back to the right before you plugged the printer back in?

No. Just leave it where you cleaned it last. It will find itself. Also note: Later I had to soak it with windex wipe for a day. That did the trick.
