The Oppo S33 Smart Media Player *kind of* looks like a bootleg iPod Touch

This is something I got years ago and I've wanted to take a look at it but never knew when.
Well I decided to finally take a look at it since the battery is completely shot in it.
I originally had no idea that Oppo started out with MP3 Players and since I've messed about with a lot of their phones - how was their Media Players from back in the day?
Well today I take an in-depth look at the Oppo S33 and see if it was able to hold its own against the competitors or the time!

Sugestion: Archos made an "internet Tablet" which had a 3,2" screen and a really thick bezel. They even made a 2,8" one. They realy called it "Tablet". I got one of them as agift back in the day and still remember how terrible it was. Archos Internet Tablet 32 and 28 were the model names.

Oppo actually makes a lot of high end multimedia products (their blu-ray players are considered one of the best on the market). So I assume in the time this came out it was pretty decent.

Oh yeah i remember this one in my highschool days. My friend had one and i was really jealous because it was imported back when oppo was still an unknown brand in our country. This gave me the idea to buy my first reliable android audio player, the ruizu z80.

OMG the Geme with the horrible brushed metal back and silicone case. How as a broke arse student, I found you on ebay and then use to convert video files to whatever shit codec you used using dodgy software so I could watch potato quality videos at the gym on the bike or treadmill back when I went more than once a decade. Thanks for the memory Smooez, almost forgot about that gem of a mp3 player from I'm guessing 17 years ago It would be good to see the ui again one day. I would have taken the oppo any day over what i had but the iphone touch over everything. Then we got affordable smartphones that could play videos to kill the market off

RK27xx is technically a "dual core" but it's just one ARM and one DSP, the former running at up to 200MHz while the latter goes to 150MHz. Considered a mid-level device when it came out.

It is kind of sweet for its time. A good alternative to the ipod touch. Not as limited as an IPod in adding music or videoes. So it comes down to prove to see if it was a good alternative. 😀😁

That pairs game, ive played it on something else. The pairs have to be connected by straight lines with nothing else in the way. So the pairs next to each other will work and those on the same outer edge and sometimes those an a top/side edge etc. Trial and error.
