Wow! As a kid who grew up in the 80s I am so happy to see this and I can't wait till it's open to the public and all things are set 7 days a week. There is definitely something very special and iconic about this 80s film. There are so many films made in the 80s that have made a footprint not just in the Hollywood vernacular but also within the vernacular of the American people. This is very awesome Scott thank you so much. Can't wait to make it out there someday and I hope you are well. Be safe out there and we will see you later! Thank you.

I recall when the 'Outsiders' movie first came out. It was not the best received film in March 1983 in Canada. There was Monty Python's Meaning of Life, Spring Break and Flashdance in April of that year to anticipate. Yet, the 'Outsiders' has held a righteous cult following since the early 00s. A dude like Danny embodies modern Americana in earnest. When you love something which defines your youth then the original idea becomes iconic in time. Danny is a brutally honest human, and you Scott have hit the jackpot in your video. The Outsiders was obviously a low-budget movie for its time, but yet a showcase of superstars yet to come. Who would have known??? Perhaps the final and 'absolute' proving ground of lasting Hollywood talent.

It's super cool that the house has some of the actual props and wardrobe worn be the cast members. That kind of stuff is always surreal. Glad that Danny Boy did this as it's a part of pop culture history. Having that said, my stomach tells me someone with money to burn is going to have to come along and bail him out as I can't see enough people coming to visit for the house to make any money. Crazy that the knife used to stab Bob is gone and nobody knows what happened to it.

I'm so glad you made it back! Sometime back a guy crashed his car into that fence, but by divine providence he did not hit the bent part from the movie! Back in the 80s some Americans from Oklahoma brought me a T-shirt and ball cap of the "Bixby Spartans", the basketball team featured in "Tex". Danny did a great job restoring this, and you did a great job on this video. Thanks again Scott! : )

In the poster for the film, the Greasers are shown laughing as Johnny is smirking. This was a candid shot, taken during the photo session in which the actors were supposed to look tough at the camera. What happened was that a crew member was approaching the food table off-camera, and a stagehand said, "Hey, that's for the talent." When Leif Garret went to the table Ralph Macchio says, "Hey, Leif, that's for the talent." This comment cracked up the cast, and the photo was used.
