Ray Kurzweil and Bryan are running neck and neck in the pill department. Too much of a good thing and you may be seeing a doctor or hospital. According to a researcher you see benefits from the first intervention (supplements), incremental benefits from the second and third interventions. And then any more interventions are probably confusing the body. I took a lot of Vitamin D3 (10,000 IU during COVID along with NR, L-Carnitine, L-Serine, and N-Acetyl-Cysteine. Went down to 5,000 IU Vitamin D3 after COVID. The Vitamin D3 might have caused Calcium to build up in my kidneys*. Not too long ago, an ICU unit diagnosed me as having a kidney stone. Since them, I've cut down the vitamin D3 by another half.) * the doctors said I didn't drink enough water. Probably that too.

You’re also wrong in your belief that just because something is consumed in pill form it automatically means stress on your kidneys. That is just not how it works. If you consume 500mg of collagen in pill form or 500mg of collagen that is contained in let’s say 10g of chicken skin from your KFC meal, then your body does not know how the 500mg of collagen ended up there and it also doesn’t really care, fact is, you have 500mg of collagen that is mostly not even gonna be filtered by your kidneys but resorbed in your colon or discarded via defecation and that pill is in this case is gonna be way more healthy because it’s not part of way too many saturated fats that are in that other diet. I’m so tired of people (especially US citizens because of their big pharma problem) thinking pills equal kidney strain without knowing the first thing about it.
