Unfortunately I’m reason ting to title these videos with specific body parts because the general population think of movements as exercises and bodyparts. If I’d title this video “ Lower body Strength for hypertrophy” I’m not sure if they would understand that this is a strength routine that can be done to out on muscle not only on the glutes.

I’ve lost 5 inches around my waist doing her workouts. I’m 5’10”. I don’t usually weigh myself because I don’t care how much I weigh. Once my waistline is where I want it, everything else is gravy. Note: I love how thick her hair is.

I can appreciate that as well! I was just at my gym doing another biometric screening prior to some trainer recommendations for a resistance workout regimen to maintain my weight while building muscle & losing belly fat, and during the evaluation the guy wanted me to add more weight and I kept telling him no I am not comfortable with that & I don’t want to injure myself as I really just wanna focus on getting the technique right for now!

First time back in the gym since about 8 months...this was exactly what I needed! Took me back to basic muscle memory, and listening to my body. I wasn’t discouraged by starting back at square one but felt highly encouraged by seeing her ramp up the exercises to a higher level if you have the ability to. The extra attention to body form and emphasizing the right and wrong ways of executing were incredibly helpful. Please keep these coming, this working momma of two needs your kind of encouragement and physical health guidance!

Great video :) careful flinging head back during hip thrusts it can cause injury. Safe and proper form is keep chin tucked the entire time only lower body movement in hip thrusts

So I've been strength training for about 5 weeks now. Today was my lower body day and I did this entire workout. Since I have a simple at-home gym, I had to modify the hip thrusts (did a weighted glute bridge instead). I also did a side plank with a leg lift for the adductor one. My weights weren't as heavy as hers, but HOLY COW!!! My legs are like JELLY right now!!! I was dripping in sweat by the end!!! Also, I don't have anything to measure my heart rate, but this definitely got it pumping! Great workout and will keep this one in my saved faves!!!💗💗💗

This workout is totally effective and manageable for me. It was so well explained and worked thru. I was able fatigued afterwards but was able to complete the entire work out at home in my garage gym.

Foot placement is relative to your body anatomy. Some has feet straight forward, for me my toes are slightly pointed out.

I just rsn across ur video looking for good exercises to work my legs and im over 40. I use to use billy blanks videos. In my 20s and they worked and ur exercises reminds me of some of the ines i did back then that really work. You got me excited. You earned a sub. I love the fact that you're not shying away from lifting heavy , and you're not selling a booty band workout that's supposed to make the ladies look like JLO with 20 lbs of resistance. This is really what it takes to build an awesome lower body. A combo of bodyweight and loaded compound exercises. Good on you!

Since I'm a little older with stiff knees and hips, I think it would be best to start with that Shin Box switch 90 90s to loosen up a bit. 😅

Thank you so much for the effective workout . I haven't worked out in so long , but today I got up and decided that I had enough with feeling out of shape and decided to go back. I used to weight train with my sister 6 days a week years ago and I remember how strong and nice I felt. I am a shaky mess right now lol but I am re dedicating myself back to it as I am 43 now. Same here! She is very knowledgeable in my opinion. I just had surgery and will be down for a while. I am so motivated I can’t stand it. Once cleared for physical activity which will be months from now. I will be on her work outs... I have CrossFit Competition ambitions.

She is amazing,definitely doing your leg workout but with lighter weights cause my lower body is not as strong as my upper body I have a knee problem but giving it a try with caution thanx your the best.

Chrissy H it’s all free weights, people can stow away free weights around the house when full gym/machines aren’t accessible. So I see why they coined it home workout.

As soon as she started to talk about hip mobility for squatting, I gave it a like right away because no one talks about this topic and movements that can be done prior to squatting to improve squat form.
