It’s 2018 and in my health class we’re learning that we won’t get enough calcium if we don’t drink milk. We’re also learning that if we don’t eat meat we won’t be getting all of our amino acids. My health teacher went on and on about how dangerous a vegan diet is and that people who go on vegan diets are facing permanent nerve damage, osteoporosis, and hair loss from lack of protein and calcium. Since I’m a vegan I typed in all my food I ate that day into Cronometer just to see if I was lacking anything. Every nutrient was way over 100% even all the amino acids and calcium. Education on nutrition in schools needs to be updated so badly.

I stopped eating meat, dairy and oil on March 1st, 2018. I weighed about 325 pounds. Today is July 24, 2018. I now weigh 249. I have more weight to lose, but it's still coming off, and I have never felt better in my life. Tons of energy!!! So much energy that I had to abandon my sedentary life style and start moving more, because my body demanded I do so. I a now kayaking and hiking every chance that I get. Going Vegan made my world a better place!

I only started 8 days ago. I can already can feel a little more energized and I used to wake up with aches and pains feeling tired even after 8 hours of sleep. The last 3 or 4 days I've got out of bed with less aches. About 50% less! I'm going to keep going and give up on the dairy now (still been eating cheese and a few eggs) maybe I can be pain free soon! Amazing

@@theghoulgals2474 the problem is stress not the milk and cheese. After I got away from the stress that making me gain weight I lost 40 pounds in 4 months. The hormone cortisol is culprit. If you have high stress levels it will make you gain weight, not the dairy. 😒

Try relaxing more. If your stress level is way up there it will make you gain weight. I was at 248 a few months back now I am at 209. If you have swollen joints it make you gain weight.

I was born in 70 and my mom thought formula was healthier ..pretty funny now but she didn't know better. I was so sick as a newborn, I couldn't tolerate any of the milk she was giving me and my heart stopped and needed to be revived in the ambulance. I had developed pneumonia and that's why I was so sick. I had diaper rash so bad my skin was peeling off she said and still she didn't breast feed, back then the doctors would give mother's a pill to dry up their milk. Later I was given cow milk which I could never tolerate and as a child I always had ear infections , basically everything the doctor is speaking about, I'm a living example. I'm newly vegan and it's changed my life so drastically for the better, I encourage everyone to try it! I've lost weight, healed my fibromyalgia and just feel better than I ever have. It took too long to get here, wish I had been vegan my whole life.

@@CH-wg1bh I am not sure if u even watched the Video...he is talking about chronic illnesses (obesity, auto immune diseases such as type 1 diabetes) and cancer. Are u really thinking that all the doctors/scientists that researched this topic and cured dozens of patients don't know about lactose intolerance? :') (he even talks about lactose intolerance in his talk too...) The research on the negative effects of dairy on humans is overwhelming and known since at least the 1950s. The facts are clear, what u believe is influenced heavily by commercials and cultural myths. It's facts vs. faith, u decide for ur own what u want to believe in but there are so many people cured from dozens of diseases when they stoped eating dairy and they would sue u when they heared u spreading these false believes which made them sick in the first place. I recommend u looking into this topic a bit further and maybe watching some other doctors (such as barnard, campbell or esselstyn) present u the studies, too. Have a nice day. :)

And eat shit in the meantime. By the way I e-mailed about 100 schools where I live, to offer them lectures about animal protein. None of the schools was interested. And doctors want to cure people, not prevent them from getting sick I guess. Everybody is so busy with their careers, money, being populair and so on and not paying any attention to what's really going on. I guess we just have to share and keep on carrying on the message. "A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

You brought up an interesting concept about how everyone's bodies are different. What causes your skin problems may prevent it in others. What I'm saying is that it may have prevented acne for you, but dairy have no effects on my skin. Other things can affect skin as well, like hormones. I have slightly not enough testosterone for a woman, but have naturally nice skin. I just had to cut down on it due to GERD acid reflux. So just to show, everyone's body is different. Wow, that was a light bulb moment for me. Thanks for a great programme of information. You do fantastic work to try to help people who will listen. Dairy is not the same as it once was. You have to understand this to realise the true impact on todays society. Dairy causes the body to produce a lot of mucus. This happens because the proteins have denatured throughout the process of heating and processing. Such proteins are indigestible and highly toxic. Your body produces mucus in an attempt to isolate them and carry them out of the body. All them phlegm - yeah, that is a sure sign that your body is not designed to digest. When your body is full of mucus it increases lymphatic stagnation (your lymphatic system is your body's sewage system - see Dr.Robert Morse for greater understanding), which in turn increases toxemia and acidity levels. High acidity within the body promotes inflammation - causing almost every ailment under the sun. Be it arthritis / sinusitis / IBS / temporary blindness / depression / panic attacks / MS / skin issues / brain disorders / behavioral disorders / TUMORS --- CANCER. Wheat/gluten sits in the same category in my eyes. It all promotes acidity. Check your food labels. Ever wondered why they highlight in bold as a known allergen? At least they're decent enough to give us a warning sign before we consume. If only dairy did too? I did a trial not so long ago to see how my body would react to dairy. This was after living a Vegan 'plant based' diet and not consuming dairy for 2 years. I consumed a dessert that was made from cows milk. I knew it was wrong. I knew it would hit me. BUT OMG. DID IT KICK MY BUTT!! Over the following days/weeks I experienced the most terrible flu like symptoms. Phlem? ... It was constant. No serious. My head was about to explode. The pain. The brain fog. The sleepless nights. The joint ache. The racing heart. The depression. The inability to think straight. You name it. I felt like I was on death's door. Truly. This was after never seeing a doctor for well over 3 years. No aches. No pains. No need to seek help. All I had was natures design to hand - I felt devine. One last comment. Who remembers when cigarettes were the norm? Healthy? To many, they still are .... (god bless them). Here's hoping the governments and health care system wake up soon. You wonder why there are so many Vegan activists out there. It isn't only about the morals. The crewly. The right for life. It is also about the care and wellbeing of humanity. Remove the toxicity and all your see is love. ......... and how corrupt this planet is. period. It makes sense right? Don't believe me? Try going raw vegan for a few months. Try a solid food vacation. Try a juice fast. Try healing your body the way it was designed. DRUG FREE. TAKE CONTROL. Don't let them suppress you.. Don't let them brainwash you. Don't let them take your money. Your children. Your loved ones. Most of all - Educate yourself and others. When you do, you're in for a treat. Peace.

G. Bell All you have said and experienced was spoken about by Dr. Sebi, I’ve been raw vegan for just two weeks and immediately noticed good changes in my body, now 3 days ago I slipped and had ice cream and Cheetos, now I’m suffering unbelievable bloating/gas! Dairy is very addictive (was easier to give up meat) but I realize now that I have to eliminate this to save my life

False, most meat is good in small quantities. Processed foods in small quantities are never good. The only thing that makes animal products worse is the "ethics" standpoint, not a health standpoint. Dairy in small quantities is ok, not great, but not bad like processed foods.

Dianne Rochenski they will always kill cows! Why waste their skin, that’s not right either. I will always eat plant based but I will never label myself “Vegan”. You take the credibility of the diet with these ridiculous statements about animals. What about all the homeless and less fortunate people, they matter less than animals? This is what gives a plant based diet less credibility. It’s people like you! Get a life and socialize with people!

I suffered with canker sores for my whole life and nothing helped them or made them any less painful. When I switched off of milk, I stopped getting them two months later and now being milk free for a year, I haven't had any since. As a child I also had many ear infections and went through surgery to get tubes put in and my adenoids removed which helped. However, 10 years later I had to get my tonsils taken out since I had chronic strep and was in and out of the hospital from the fevers associated with it. I would consider myself lucky to have had these health issues since I could physically see and feel the health differences that changed when I cut milk out of my diet. If you don't have any "serious health issues" then consider yourself lucky and save your body before it's too late. Dr. McDolugall and people like him changed my life. He states facts. Listen to him. When I was a young child, I was constantly constipated because of milk. I hated milk and did not want to drink it as it was coming up while I was forcing it down. If I did not finish my milk soon enough for my mother, I had to drink another. I was the youngest child, and to be fair, I was required to eat the same quantity and drink the same as my brother and sister who was 5 years older. I was always on laxatives. But they did not work very well. So my mother gave me daily enemas which if you understand that a young child can't fit a whole enema bag of water, that did not matter to my mother. I was in agony. When I was old enough to attend school, the enemas continued. While other kids went to after school sports, I had to come home for my enema. When my mother told me I should join after school sports, this pushed my enemas later and the cramping I was in was later into the evening. If this was your childhood, would you consider it abuse? When I was in high school I learned about bran cereal and began asking for this, even so, the laxatives hardly worked because of the milk. I was still giving myself enemas after I got married. But at least after marriage I did not have to drink milk three times a day which I no longer did, so I felt better. But even with this reduction of dairy, I still assumed it was healthy for me and I began eating yogurt cups for lunch and put on 30 lbs thinking it was menopause. My joints in my hands were dreadfully painful with arthritis. I decided to see if the arthritis was due to some food, so I already knew I had trouble with dairy. So after I was off dairy for 30 days my hands were useful again to me. I did not drink any milk for a year, occasionally having ice cream or cheese. If I don't drink milk or eat cheese or ice cream, I lose weight. Now I am vegan and feel so much better. I am 65 and am drug-free, no prescriptions. I still have 50 to lose but I know I will be able to do it and keep it off and not yo-yo up and down as I have for years.

@@sandraobrien8705 Prior to quitting dairy, I was a vegetarian for about 10 years. I was in pretty good health, so there weren't any major, dramatic changes. That said, at the risk of TMI, I have noticed that I have less bo, and my seasonal allergies are much improved. I also lost weight; but I had also made a deliberate effort to cut out chips and other high fat/ unhealthy foods as well. My BMI went from 29 to about 23. It was slow, but I didn't work out or count calories either. I just ate healthy food till I was full. I'm glad that I don't have the saturated fat and estrogen in my diet now. Finding out the estrogen level in dairy was what got me to finally quit. I'm certain that not eating either will help me stay healthier in the long run; at 58 it's not just theory now. My last blood work was all good, well within normal range. My answer isn't real exciting, so I hope you're not too disappointed!

I know for a fact that you don't have to feed cows milk to children. That's sad. I watch a popular KZbin channel where the parents raised two children vegan from conception till now. They are extremly healthy children. She is pregnant again, and she has been vegan for a long time, with all of her pregnancies. My mother gave me goates milk beccause the cows milk did not agree with me. I worked for a farmer that sold a variety of vitamin and minerals to other farmers, so that they didn't have to give antibiotics to their cows when they developed mastits. The sematic cell count (pus) in the milk, had to be a certain measure, or the farmers would have to dump the milk and not sell it. I learned alot working there years ago. I never liked cows milk, and when I did research back then, I totally stopped using it on cereal. I'm glad I discovered alternatives years ago. It's crazy! I really think the government is trying to keep us sick. It's a shame.

joel diaz looking back on my eating habits, I can say that dairy messed me up a lot more. I also think eating dairy is more unnatural than meat.

Yea right cow milk and dairy products DO NOT protect and or strengthen your bones because if that was true my mother that consume cow dairy religiously would not have developed arthritis AND OSTEOPOROSIS. All my sister's ALSO consume LOTS of dairy products icecream, yogurt ranch dressing cheese burger etc and they all have arthritis.

One of my children was a bedwetter; another had terrible anal lesions; a third had behavioral problems like you and others have attributed to dairy use. Thank you. I'm so grateful we caught the dairy connection for the lesions. Didn't have a clue about the bedwetting-dairy effect-cause.
