I don't. Love her videos, but that ridiculous voice she puts on is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I realize how that sounds, but I can't help it. There are certain sounds that actually make me feel nauseous, like, physically. Although her voice isn't as bad as that, it's nearly there. But I love the videos, the voice was just a price to pay for the viewing experience.

I don't! To me, this video is much more immersive than any of the previous videos ❤️ I am sorry we all give her such contrasting comments though :( in the previous videos, the vocal fry was always pointed out as negative, with lots of likes on the comments. Now it's gone, and comments are missing it! Damned if she does, damned if she doesn't 😭 In the end, it should be whatever she feels most comfortable with. ❤️

Thank you for being inclusive and NOT tossing all Black women in the "Winter" or "Autumn" categories. I'm actually a Bright Spring (as is Kerry Washington) and I never see myself reflected in Color Analysis videos. Like some of the other commenters, I noticed the narration change. From a filmmaker's perspective, it offers a much different tone to the videos. The vocal fry in the previous narration took me several videos to adjust to and then I found it endearing. However, I'm such an admirer of your work, I'm here for the ride.

I agree. This sounds autotuned - I don't know if it is or if she's just changing how she's talking, but I don't think she should feel like she has to change for the vocal minority when the majority of her viewers love how she was presenting. Both because it's potentially not good for keeping subscribers and because if she changes something I hope it's because she wants to, not because she feels like she has to.

I wasn’t trying to “ dramatically purr” I genuinely just speak like this. If I could sound “normal” I would, but it is what it is. Please just drop this, there isn’t a need to discuss it since I no longer narrate

@@ukelicious123 I think her voice is beautiful and the people like your self (who have no vibe) that jump down her throat about it should keep their nasty opinion to them selves, especially if it wasn’t asked for. If you get it, you get it; and if you don’t, you don’t. Don’t like it you should get off her channel, she can do what ever she wants and if you want a video with a “less distracting” (boring) voice make it your self and lets see how many subs you get😊.

Been a subscriber since you posted your first video. Not gonna lie I love your voice narrating, it's a signature of your videos like your high fashion photo book like editing. Hi, um, new subscriber here. I just want to say that this is one of the channels that made me in love with fashion. For me, it's kind of like when Forbes and Vogue had a baby, with Runway (from The Devil Wears Prada) as the rich aunt. I love the aesthetics of your videos and I kind of miss the old voice that has this elegant feeling which fits so well. People can disagree but its their opinion and I respect that. It is true that it's a bit hard to listen at as I am also someone whose native language isn't English, but I like it. Yet, with all that's said and done, I hope that even when your channel grows, you will always be Clever & Chic.

I very much like the inclusion of von Goethe as the originator of the romantic ideas of colour through his important book The Theory of Colours. Another interesting thread to follow after this would be to look at Schopenahur's on Vision and Colours, where he is a lot more analytical in his analysis of colour, focusing more on how colour works as the activity of the eye rather than intrinsic properties of colour. It is very interesting to read, with understanding of what he says in book 3 of The World as Will and Representation, to see how he views colour and art as only a our unique representation and experience of the physical world.

I use color in my wardrobe very deliberately and consider it before every purchase as well as when getting dressed. Since I found out my color palette shopping became easier for me, because I like planning. I wear all the colors I like except the ones that look too unflattering, but wear my own color palette when I want to wow or make a good first impression.

I have been following this concept for a long time. I am blonde. I needed an explanation on how men's clothing recommendations never seemed quite right for me. Most men's recommendations were for winter. I am in the spring category. For instance, I need a navy blue that I can actually see that it is blue and not that bottomless blue black that is common in men's suits. Also, I am not summer. Those brights and pastels are too light and bright on me. I need a coral that has some depth to it and not those very common light pink shirts that are sold to men. Once I understood that I can also wear camel, kaki, ecru and off white, then my wardrobe became very suitable to me. It made shopping much easier and I can mix and match very well now. I do love a dark wash indigo jean but that is not on my face and that makes a difference. Light wash jeans also work for me and white jeans. I love indigo blue shirts but I am careful that they are not too dark. Those pale blue men's dress shirts can be off color for me. Give me a french blue instead. I highly recommend that you game an understanding of this concept of seasonal color analysis to help you decide on what colors you prefer and why.

Loved this! And maybe an unpopular opinion, but I actually really like the new narrator. I can understand her clearly and can discern every word without the volume turned all the way up. While the previous narrator had a nice tone to her voice, I personally found her rhythm and cadence a bit confusing and unnatural, with pauses and syllables stressed at odd times. For those who miss the old narrator, maybe they can alternate between videos to change it up a bit.

I agree too! I loved the previous narration as it was soothing but not the best for processing the actual information that was being given in the video. I don’t like that people were mean about her voice so i hope that hasn’t been the reason for her decision but hopefully a happy medium can be found between the old narrator’s tone and the new narration’s flow & clarity
