My theory for Yuji is that he's both a Heavenly Restriction *and* a half-cursed spirit. Cursed spirits can eat cursed objects, including Sukuna fingers, and grow in power without losing control of themselves. But normally they only end up as fetuses who can't grow, so having a Heavenly Restriction to suppress most of his cursed spirit nature allows Yuji to grow into a full-fledged person with his own body and stomach, making him the perfect vessel for Sukuna. As for "is Gojo coming back" I *do* think he's coming back but I *don't* think it'll be RTC. There are two ways I can see him coming back; the first is that he gets preserved by Arata, allowing him to not die, and thus be a viable target for the soul swapping shenanigans. This way he can come back in spirit and hit Sukuna at his weak-spot - Megumi. If Gojo and Nobara came in with other people's bodies and started cheering Megumi on, even if they can't participate in the battle it'll still allow them to wake him up, nerfing Sukuna a ton. The other option is that the secret of cursed corpses gets used by Principal Gakuganji, since they need three corpses to make self-sustaining cursed corpses like Panda. They have three bodies now, and that means Sukuna's victims can re-enter the fray after they die!

I personally don't see Sukuna being the final villain. He gives Hisoka vibes a little bit and i feel like he might even join the protagonists at some point. In light of what he's done during the course of the series (especially Shibuya), it's safe to infer he's the chaotic type but that still doesn't make him a "I wanna destroy the whole world" typa villian. Finding worthy opponents and achieving fulfillment while fighting them seems to be his thing, but we'll see what happens.

I believe sukuna landing a black flash even further cements the idea sukuna was holding back to an extent vs gojo. Sukuna is the type to pride himself on being the strongest and will go out of his way to beat his opponents at their own game to cement that. Vs higaruma sukuna chooses to let him summon to executioner sword simply because it entertains him. He wants to see it in action. Even purposely not killing him just to see how far his potential will go when faced with death. Similarly with gojo. He refers to infinity as scales he wants to peel off. Meaning sukuna wants destroy gojo with the never thing that makes him untouchable. Even against yuji. He’s only kept him alive because he wants to completely destroy what gives yuji strength. Aka hope. He wants to eradicate his hope and his conviction to keep standing up. Also the only way I could see this being the first time he’s ever hit a black flash would be if no one has ever given sukuna sense of purpose of the same way maki has. Although I find that highly unlikely.

Sukuna's black flash in this chapter occured because Maki was the first of the protagonists to excite him enought to use it, which lines up with Uraume's previous statements about how stronger he gets when he's actually excited. Kinda feels like sukuna has perfect heavenly restriction as well, he perception blitzed her after he locked in and didn’t get tagged once and he used pure movement speed alongside dismantle or cleave. I said this in another comment, but I think Yuji could soul swap with Megumi and in prison Sukana in Megumi's body, eat the 20th finger and then get killed, now I don't think this will happen as quickly as I described, Yuji first has to get back into that soul realm where Megumi was, and talk no justu his way into getting Megumi to want to live again, as I think that's why he couldn't soul swap with him the first time, after that he will have to fight Sukana for control, but ultimately Yuji will beat Sukana in the soul realm thingy, and in prison the king of curses and that will most likely be ggs, now of course there is still the whole merger thing and Sukana who would be in Megumi's body might activate that as like a last try to kill everyone, then they'll beat that thing and kill Yuji to end the series

Personally, I don't think he has ever gotten this hyped before since nobody has ever actually "threatened" his ideals/pursuit of sorcery. If a strong sorcerer beat him, his ideal wouldn't be crushed, so he feels less threatened by Gojo because it would only further his idea that sorcery is the way to go. If there's even a *chance* of Maki beating him, his entire life would be flipped upside down and everything he had been doing would have been for nothing. Keep in mind, he never hit Gojo with a black flash, which means even though Gojo was giving him a run for his money, he was NOT nearly amped up enough to hit a black flash like he is against Maki. It also seems like this is the *first* time he has ever fought someone like Maki, which furthers my idea. Although he definitely is not threatened by Maki's strength, I think he is threatened simply by the idea that Maki *may* be able to prove him wrong, and that is why he got amped enough to hit the black flash. This probably reads bad because I'm bad at formatting my ideas.

i still dont get why gege writes these last fights this way except that he want to be done with it. On one Hand we still need to resolve Megumi as Sukuna's counterpart we still dont know what jujutsu really is as in Sukuna's full knowledge and the black box. He killed Gojo without making him use the box and personally i think he slightly nerfed Gojos application on Limitless and his Tactical Acumen too. Narratively it would make no sense to bring him back so in terms of writing flow i dont see this becoming a satisfying ending to the story because sukuna is ways too strong to make it feel satisfying or justified to make the others win. Even if its an unexpected ending if peoples gut feeling is right that we are in the last 10 minutes of the football match. Id say if he wanted it to end in the next 40 chapters nerfing sukuna and making gojo and kashimo more formidable opponents would have been wiser but that would mean that it ends as we expect with this series of fights for better or worse.Which eould have made for a good send off even if we undersell Kenny. Gege cares about his message but i have no idea what he plans to convey and i am not enough into buddism to see it coming so alas i can only hope it wont feel cheap. Its crazy how last chapter, everyone was expecting gege to glaze his 2 fav characters but when he doesnt do that and takes the reasonable outcome, they now go, "chill gege its womens history month".🤡 The only reason they want gege to be biased so bad is so they can glaze and cope about yuji yuta and gojo. Ive been saying it this whole arc and ill say it again. Sukuna has only had ONE moment of plot armor, and that was during higurumas domain.

My theory for Yuji is that his CT is that soul-touching technique, which also enables him to switch bodies with someone else. The reason he has Blood Manipulation, however, is because he consumed the rest of his brothers. He then made a Binding Vow with them, giving him access to their technique.

I've seen a theory that Yuji has a heavenly restriction which is he has no cursed technique but in exchange he can utilize both cursed energy and also have the physical aspects of a heavenly restriction (not to its fullest extent ofc) and the reason he is able to gain cursed techniques is cuase he's basically like a sponge. Honestly it makes sense to me and if it is true, it makes sense why sukuna hates him so much because he defies what he lives by being a balance of both jujutsu and perfecting the human body
