Kai Widman the terms are relative. They both are pull exercises, and they both get your chin to go over the bar. The proper term you should be using is PRONATED vs SUPINATED grip. For example, if you do a supined grip pull up but dont have your chin go over the bar, that technically shouldnt be called a "chin up" right?

Parkour Logang people talk down about crossfit because those exercises often involve moves/motions that takes the work away from the muscles being trained. Crossfitters have a sort of illusion of lifting more weight than they can actually handle. Strength training is a more scientific and effective way to building the targeted muscle strength
@zacharyjohnson69516 жыл бұрын
Parkour Logang swinging your legs for a pullup isn't going to build important supporting muscles. It's mainly allowing you to use a swinging force generated by your legs to assist with the motion. If the goal is building strength/muscle, then this technique pointless.

Oh yeah, the dude who can't do proper pushups
@wmz.design8 жыл бұрын
wider hand grip which means you will have less range of motion
@Corvanor8 жыл бұрын
Walid Maaz I suggest you look up how to do a wipe pushup. Your chest is basically almost supposed to touch the floor.
@wmz.design8 жыл бұрын
Corvanor i do know how to do a wide push-up but still it is hard to do them with a 60 lb vest so maybe not going full ROM was his plan as much push-ups as needed
@Corvanor8 жыл бұрын
Walid Maaz It may not be easy, but that doesn't mean he gets the excuse to call it a push up.
@wmz.design8 жыл бұрын
Corvanor true but dont forget that those Guinness guys are the ones who called it a push-up

I reckon he should get an award for holding his certificate while also hanging on the bar. Like it’s just unheard of.

Funny how 90% of the people complaining about his pushups have probably never even done pushups themselves
@harriehealey72858 жыл бұрын
Awful form, this doesn't count as a world record its ridiculous
@rasmusjensen48388 жыл бұрын
add to that no swinging of the legs (I mean it's obvious but people still do it) and something I see a lot: not moving your head so your chin get elevated, if that makes any sense.

Sam Thompson haha Um how many pull ups can you do without a 60 pound pack...maybe 15.

“Some people have called me pound for pound the worlds strongest man” proceeds to not do a single full push up and probably can’t pull or push his own body weight

Believe it or not, the marine corp doesn't set the standard for what a pushup or pull up is.
