That was a long trip indeed with all the very early wake ups 😮. Exactly what you said you just never know what someone going through but i know exactly what you mean its not a nice feeling for your self .( i use to work in an adventure park and i had some very difficult customers ) i had to teach my self to let go , put it behind me. J, It's o.k. to have bad thoughts/feelings. You were tired, someone was nasty to you, you were very hungry. These all add up. Maybe next time do a self check and and recognize, 'oh, it's the fatigue, the other persons 'tude, and the hunger combining and affecting me after a long day'. Flying is fatiguing. Your job is physically exhausting. I am friends with a woman who is the most positive person on the face of the planet and while she loved the benefits she just wouldn't do the flight attendant life. She tried it, was excellent at it, but, she was always sleep deprived. You looked cute in that Target top. That candy cane tree!

Thinking "just because you have a bad day, it doesn't mean you have a bad life" is a good attitude - you can also keep in mind that a bad day can improve by the end of it. Sometimes exhaustion and sleep deprivation alone can put you a bad mood for no reason, so be nice to yourself - everybody has bad days. Thank you for sharing!

Sorry you had an unhappy passenger! I tend to judge people by how they treat other people who are just doing their job trying to serve them the best they can, particularly, when they have not personally done anything wrong... That being said, it is part of your job to try to placate them the best you can... I'm sure you did that wonderfully and can be proud of yourself for that! Hopefully, it didn't get you down too much... Maybe it all balances out since you got your coffee paid for out of the blue and got happy vibes from that! Those early mornings and the late, late nights can really do a number on you. Being a flight attendant is not an easy job, but, as you say, it certainly has some perks along the way, too! It's always nice to come home to the Luna-tic and Eric! Happy for you!

Hi Julia I also work for a major airline and yes it can be very stressful honestly I can't remember the number of times I've actually cried because of something that occurred at work, I'm sorry but some people are just mean or Lord knows what they are going through. However, at the end of the day I'm truly grateful for my job and for the many experiences that can only make us stronger. Stay strong as you are so loved and blessed. (1:52) i would always choose the bed away from the window for safety reasons. First it’s closer to the door to evacuate when needed, and if a hurricane, tornado, or earthquake should be happening you will not be injured by the braking of the glass. Now many modern hotels have these tempered glass panes, but you can’t tell so I stick with the inner bed. Also, the bed away from the window will be quieter from the noise outside. I was in Geneva, Switzerland and my hotel room was across the runway of the airport. So going in deeper into the room added that much more quiet. Now the bed closer to the window or balcony I will sit on and look upside to see the sunset or sunrise or what have you of nice views.

I can’t imagine a passenger being angry at someone as nice as you. But good point about being understanding because you don’t know what kind of problems that person might be having. And I usually choose the inner bed if the weather is hot or cold outside. If not and the view is nice I go for the outer bed.

No matter people's problems, they should still be kind to others, but since unfortunately the world isn't like that always, you Julia, handled it right, still were nice and served them as nicely as you could.....so nice Erik's/Eric's (sp) is in town ~ Happy Thanksgiving to you all in PA and Happy Thanksgiving to your parents in NV and your sister in UT or maybe she went to NV to your parent's home.....whatever, HAPPY BLESSED THANKSGIVING TO EVERYTHING! Oh and to your question, I/we always pick a bed when it's queens in a hotel furthest from the a/c unit or air blowing down or out on us as you never know of germs in a hotel vent system no matter how clean and wonderful the room is, and/or the filters when they were changed last.

One day I'll try Italian food in the US, I'm not ready yet 🤣 Anyway, I'm used to bad days at work a lot more I'm used to good days. I recommend that next time you meet a frustrated passenger that you ask "What are you frustrated about?" or "What are the reason that you are frustrated" so the passenger can answer I am frustrated about ..., In this way both the passenger and you can end the trip or travel in a good way. Then the passenger can express their frustration and your day will be better, you can keep your good mental health even if you listen to a bad story or happening in the passengers life.
