Hey, I’ve probably shared this theory before but here it is. All the Glamrock Animatronics are possessed, you don’t have to dive too deep. In Security Breach when Glamrock Freddy runs out of power because he missed the hourly recharge he’s able to come back an hour later unexplainably, implying that he’s possessed. By the time Security Breach Ruin takes place none of the Glamrock animatronics have been using it for years. Using that simple logic and example alone you can tell that ALL of the Glamrock animatronics are possessed. The reason why Roxy is able to come back is because Charlie is in her (if you take a moment to notice the black and white wires around Roxy in Ruin) or just someone else we haven’t meant, the same with Chica and Monty. They’re all possessed.

Monty fan here And as someone who sees a lot of Monty pointing the finger without looking for clues. I know that in some of the bags they mentioned that Monty did not have the claws in the time of the incident. That Monty may have been fine with Bonnie and was chill. But when he was given the claws to replace the rabbit, that's when he got hacked. Along with the others, so that would explain the extra aggressiveness. Also I think it's cause Monty is a gator, which are ironically very penitent animals IRL. I still don't see Monty doing this on his own, or we don't really know what he and the relations with the other animatronics are like.

I don’t think Monty is an evil bastard who just wants fame and is an aggressive lunatic, I think he’s misunderstood, I think that Monty was definitely hacked into killing Bonnie, Sure maybe he was a little jealous of them, But the storyteller virus turned that little jealousy into hatred and that’s what made him kill Bonnie, He didn’t deserve what he got, It said in the storyteller books that Monty was harmless before he got hacked, And in the new VIP novel, He seems like a very nice guy, a doofus and a jokester, He even let Devon win at a game they were playing, I don’t think Monty killed Bonnie by his own intentions before being hacked, He’s very misunderstood.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the corruption aims at the Glamrocks’ worst traits and amplified them, DDLC style. Monty, an ambitious but laid back guy with a bit of jealousy became hateful and ruthless. Chica, a happy and sweet gal with an eating disorder being made hollow, only allowing her addiction to fill its place. Roxy, a tough and confident gal who always held self doubts was made to be crippled by them, and made her pettiness into spite, everything going wrong was something trying to make her look like the loser she felt she was, and she couldn’t have that.

The problem with the Roxy theory is that her aggression in the game extends purely to her raceway. There's pizzaplex staff notes explaining this. For Roxy to hate Bonnie he'd have to have beaten her repeatedly in a go kart race, like a few unlucky staff bots did. There's also the media(Freddy voice lines,etc) around the pizzaplex that shows Bonnie got along with Freddy, Chica and Roxy while they were band mates so there's no real ill will to prove there.😅 Roxy couldn't have done it because Bonnie NEVER stepped on her turf.

The interactive book called: VIP (Very Informative Pig), gives us info that really sheds some light on the subject believe it or not. 🤣 (The book is free, I think) *SPOILERS* To summarize, this book is from the perspective of a kid that’s in the Pizzaplex, but it’s before the events of security breach. It tells us that Bonnie did have his own green room, and Monty’s Gator Golf used to be a maze area where Monty would chase kids, and take them back to the beginning if he caught them. This is supported with Monty’s voicelines in SB. The book also says that kids can distract Monty by throwing Bonnie’s carrot candy, because Monty is jealous. To top it all off, the main protagonist says he wishes there was a daycare where he can place his older brother, which the Very Informative Pig tells us they’re adding one eventually. This book shows us that the Pizzaplex gets more stuff added after a certain amount of time, and that explains why in Tales from the Pizzaplex, we hear about some attractions in the Pizzaplex, but we haven’t seen them in the game. Overall, The Pizzaplex is a really cool idea, but it could have been handled a lot better for security breach. Still, I gave the game a 7/10.

Well.. Monty probably still had claws before his upgrade. Freddy has claws and he doesn’t play the bass, so why wouldn’t Monty have claws? It’s only after the upgrade that his claws are made specifically for the bass.

My theory is that vanny or glitch trap took control of Monty and killed Bonnie by using Monty and since Monty saw himself killing Bonnie he hated himself and became aggressive because he killed Bonnie. It’s not a good theory but I just wanted to share it

I had a really bad theory from before RUIN's release that Monty was just Bonnie but reprogrammed and redesigned and that he slightly began remembering his old self when people were asking where he went and then started destroying his redesigned green room in anger that he was factory reset and rebranded as a new character whose design was recently approved by the higher ups of Fazbear entertainment which is why he's so aggressive as he's just acting out of the pain and betrayal he felt as even his fans as Bonnie were loving Monty more and were forgetting about the original bassist What supported this theory is what Freddy says when you bring him into the office area of the Endo warehouse "Am I really Freddy or am I just Monty in another shell?"

Honestly, I feel like Monty is the epitome of the corrupted rockstar trope, especially associated with the 80’s. If I may, I want to spin a yarn, based on what we see in the game, and what could be inferred from how the glitches work. He started out a younger fella with big dreams, having the band as his idols, wanting to get into music, even having the classic 80’s mullet. Then he gets into the band, and Roxy changes his looks into something more punk rock, like dying his hair bright red and making it into a mohawk, and he’s in. He has big dreams, he wants to be a star, to be the best he can be, but he has his weaknesses. In this case, his exploits were his anger issues, and jealousy. He wanted to be the best, why wasn’t he more well liked? Why wasn’t he as popular? His patience was thin, but he was young and ambitious, it’s not surprising. He was learning to play guitar, specifically the bass, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Bonnie teaching him, and that jealousy slowly became more pointed. Maybe because Bonnie was the bassist, maybe because the glitches needed Bonnie out of the way, or maybe both. That’s when the corruption happened. That jealousy a younger performer can harbor became hatred. Hatred for Freddy, the face of the band, but especially for Bonnie, his mentor, someone in the place he should rightfully be. His minor anger flare ups became stronger, more often. The others tried to deal with him, but his rage and insecurity made him more unlikable, and eventually that led to Bonnie trying to intervene. After a night where Monty went off the handle again, Bonnie goes and finds Monty in his golf course, and tries to talk to him. Monty is already fuming, and having the man who he despises, the one holding him back and stopping him from getting the fame he craved, he’s condescending him now, trying to control him? It was too much. A crime of passion, and Monty, in his spite, steals Bonnie’s glasses. He was taking Bonnie’s place, and that was his first real taste of power, and the next step in his plan. That’s my idea, anyway, I wouldn’t be surprised if in the next game we get to see more of how the Glamrocks came to be, including how Monty started out, and maybe we could bring him out of his corrupted state by reminding him of what his dream was. Not to take over and dominate, but to be a star in his own right, and how he doesn’t need to hurt others to become who he wanted to be. The friends he had, the mentor he had, he isn’t his rage, he’s his own person. Or something like that.

Glamrock Bonnie was killed by Vanny/Vanessa. My guess is is that Bonnie accidentally got too close to the truth about Vanessa and what she was doing. In response, Vanny, Vanessa’s digital alter-ego, smashed a bowling ball on Bonnie’s head and tore his chest apart, then she used green paint to make it look like Monty did it.

Roxy couldn't have done Bonnie in, as her aggressive moments in security breach are explained in notes found during the 'get Roxy's eyes' mission. She's a sore loser on the racetrack but relatively well composed every where else. A management/technician note explains she's destroyed several staff bots for them having the audacity to out do her in her home area, the racetrack. In fact the staff bot head collected to trigger the cutscene of actually being able to obtain Roxy's eyes is from one such staff bot. Bonnie would have to have travelled to Roxy Raceway specifically to anger Roxy BUT He would've already been aware of what happened to the staff bots so wouldn't have tried it. He ONLY ever provenly wandered to Monty golf anyway, there's notes confirming security camera triggers by Bonnie in that area anyway. Roxy isn't known with any evidence to have actually entered that area herself in the game. The cut outs in Ruin were to sell a fake story to children and notes say management had human staff put them up in the order of presentation to give an answer to the children's most frequently asked question about Bonnie. A question which staff were left for ages waiting for management to come up with a qoute: 'Official response.' to the many child guests' question.

Me and my friend actually came to the same conclusion as well and it's true that the evidence speaks for itself in the matter my friend and I went back and replaying all of the games we think that the chip from sister location is involved with the hacking though plus vanny does have a remote control to control them as well we thought it was built before the murder happen though we also believe that he was being told that he was better than the others to make him jealous in our theory but I like your take on it as well

I can tell my theory about Bonnies death. It might have sense. When bonnie entered montys Golf, he met monty. We know that monty hated bonnie and freddy as minigolf show us in sb. Bonnie was not ready to fight, as we see him in HW2 as a figure. Monty caused bonnie to fall, but he was not cutted in half like monty. He ran away to his room in bonnies bowl, there he was attacked by staff bots that we see in his room, they were defeated by Bonnie. Also we can see one staff bot blocking the way, there are also some claw marks on his cabinets in his room. When bonnie was surrounded by them, he ran away into room where his body is. There were also staff bots, also he defeated one of them(we can see body parts if staff bot around bonnie) but thr others defeated him and killed. Its just a theory.

I haven't played the game, but it's possible that Monty was patient 0 for being corrupted. Vanessa while under Glitchtrap's control probably had a newly brainwashed Gregory help her reprogram Monty. Yet, they may have to adapt the Pizzaplex books into actual games though to flesh out what happened prior to Security Breach. I reckon that the newer books are just potential game ideas that Steelwool can use in the future.

Well. VIP shows Monty was short-tempered and aggressive from the start, so the Storyteller seems to just be saying that Monty's temper gets worse when corrupted, and he doesn't seem to like Glam Bonnie as he yells at Bonnie-themed candy before stomping on it and he apparently sabotaged either Glam Bonnie's go-kart or a Bonnie themed go-kart with Monty Mystery Mix. So I personally just concluded that Monty did destroy Glam Bonnie because of that detail and just because everything else from Security Breach(Glam Bonnie going missing in Monty Golf) to Ruin(Glam Bonnie's body having claw marks and green stains and Monty being shown sweeping Glam Bonnie away with a tornado) to Help Wanted 2(a Bonnie bowling ball being shown getting crushed by a Monty bowling bowl). VIP makes it seem like that Monty was already a part of the band from the start and was the 5th member and second extra bass guitar player, as well as Glam Bonnie's understudy and student. Especially since Monty's Gator Golf was originally Monty's Maze so Monty's stage was probably not there originally. The Storyteller also says that characters that are associated with various attractions like Monty's Gator Golf, Roxy Raceway, Fazer Blast, and Bonnie Bowl are acting unusual, so Glam Bonnie might've been still alive in the Storyteller and when Monty had his green room in Rockstar Row. Especially since Bonnie Bowl shows that Glam Bonnie's green room is there as well as a stage.

What about Ruined Monty being electrocuted by a Glam Bonnie light sign and Glam Bonnie's body having claw marks on it with the green paint? Plus, we know Monty doesn't like Glam Bonnie either because the VIP book shows him getting angry at Bonnie-themed candy(Bonnie Bites) by yelling at it before stomping on it and he sabotaged a Glam Bonnie-themed go-kart with Monty Mystery Mix just because it's about Glam Bonnie. Vanny does seem to have a role in it though, because Glam Bonnie is connected to the Wet Floor Caution Bots and they seem possessed by souls of dead children. And we know that Glam Bonnie's missing message was done by security which we know Vanessa is the head of. So it seems like she used Monty to take Glam Bonnie out because she couldn't control him anymore and he was trying to protect kids.

I genuinely cant explain the greenish markings with this theory, but I think we have even ANOTHER suspect for Bonnie's murder besides Roxy. And yes this is just because I love the guy and shove him into every story I can, but I think Moon is a genuine suspect here. We know he's strong enough to grab Freddy and drag him around easily. We ALSO see his strength displayed in the Daycare loft, where multiple Staff Bots have had huge gaping holes clawed into their exoskeletons by an animatronic who doesnt even HAVE claws (we even see him rearing his hand back and then thrusting it at our face in one of his jumpscares in Ruin, and another in Help Wanted 2, implying this is his usual form of attack, with his hands.) We even see MORE of those Staff Bots with the same damage IN Bonnie's wrecked room in Ruin, implying the same animatronic probably attacked them too. None of Bonnie's old things, his portraits or trophies or anything like that, have been destroyed - just Staff Bots, which wouldnt make much sense if the damage was done by Monty out of jealousy. Meanwhile Moon doesn't really need a motivation to destroy Bonnie; not only is he just sort of an embodiment of chaotic evil, he also is heavily implied to be controlled by Vanny - and when you leave Bonnie's room in Ruin, the AR tunnel spits you out right inside Vanny's old hideout. Maybe Vanny needed Bonnie for parts for building Burntrap, or something like that, and she just let Monty take the fall out of convenience. Oh, and while YES we do see an animation in Bonnie Bowl of a Monty ball crushing a Bonnie ball, we also pccasionally see Moon, who (while not the only THREAT) is the only actual animatronic character in the level. That level is described as "Bonnie's own private lane", and Moon can get in through a hole in the ceiling... and the Bonnie statue you unlock for your gallery seems to be looking upwards slightly as if in fear. I think we have the most EVIDENCE for it being Monty, but that doesn't mean the whole thing can't be some huge cover up

Correct me If I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Monty always had claws. He just got UPGRADED ones to play the bass (that being the casing of his hands since Freddy and Roxy have claws too) Also, Monty's fingers are green he could've dug his claws and fingers deep into Bonnie when he slashed him. It also depicts Monty with claws in the gondola ride. Also, in VIP it shows Monty in his Glamrock attire, with claws even though Bonnie wasn't killed, and Monty hadn't replaced him yet ( this shows he has always had claws) However, Bonnie doesn’t have claws (just like Chica), so why does Monty need upgraded ones to play the bass? Also, to eliminate Roxy and the Mimic, Roxy has no motive whatsoever, and the Mimic was sealed under the Pizzaplex, for a really really long time.

its the wrong green for me to think Monty did it the green to me looks closer to mold seeing how animatronics can eat it very well could have been. the Glamrock all kinda have a unhealthy coping mechanism. Roxy her self esteem " i'm perfect bad things don't happen to perfect people" . Chica her overeating the fallout is shown in ruin. Monty his anger fits . the only one that doesn't have a coping mechanism we see is Freddy as close as they are shown to be even having a signed picture in Bonnie's room only mention one line that he misses him that's it , all the proof we have is a security report from a unknown so unreliable source . and he just so happens to be dumped in front of his secret room (his main room would have to be in rockstar road at the time) it just doesn't add up how he get there without being spotted and if he could whose to say someone else didn't sneak into Monty golf and kill bonnie why was his movement reported in the first place, there are no other logs of other animatronics when they leave the room .

I think the theory of them being hacked makes the most sense since Roxane has a big ego to cover her low self esteem, so I believe it WAS Roxy who killed Bonnie as an effort to boost her ego by moving up in the band and since Monty is the only other animatronic that could have done this it would make sense but Roxane loosing paint from her claws makes much more sense then Monty losing it from his fingers.

I’d say Montgomery had a bit of jealousy, but not out of malice, but his slight jealousy was tampered by Glitch Trap. Remnants can touch any object and any slight dark remnant could cause their feelings to be extreme without their intentions. And Glitch Trap is proof of that with Chica, Roxy and even Freddy.

I wouldn't say mind-controlled, but rather corrupted and brainwashed and controlled with command codes. Glam Bonnie is made clear to be connected to the Wet Floor Caution Bots and they seem to be possessed by souls of dead children probably by Vanny, so she likely used Monty to take Glam Bonnie out to get the kids that he was trying to protect because he at one point rebooted into safe mode like Glam Freddy, since his eyes are yellow.

I don't think Monty killed Bonnie I believe that either the mimic or glamrock chica did it because the mimic has insanely large claws so the mimic grabbed glamrock bonnie and slammed him against the wall to get that green paint on bonnie and then destroyed bonnie that's one theory my other one is that the green paint from glamrock bonnie is actually monty mystery mix and chica loves monty mystery mix and there's a lot of it in bonnie bowl so bonnie might of been in chicas way so she had to destroy him just to get the monty mystery mix

It was Roxanne. She has green clothes. Monty only ripped out Bonnie‘s eye because he was being controlled by vanny because why would you do it plus you have to go through Roxies Raceway to get to get to Monty to golf if you’re at Bonnie ball

Monty I don't think is truly bad. I think Monty was just sick with Florida syndrome.... Joking aside, I agree that Bonnie wanted to give Monty the role and retire but maybe it was Vanny and Glitchtrap that messed with Monty. Maybe Bonnie approached Monty as he was the first and easiest to corrupt, and tried to help save Monty, only to fail and be killed in the process. Hence why Bonnie is gone. Bonnie in his effort to help save Monty was killed in the process, which left Monty to act the way he did, and then over time Roxanne Wolf and Glamrock Chica got corrupted as well. Glamrock Freddy was the last one left and almost corrupted but faints mid corruption and is sent to Safe Mode, which is how heis ok. I believe after Security breach, Chica and Roxanne were possibly knocked back to safe mode, maybe by Gregory and/or Vanessa, since the Princess Quest Ending is technically the canon ending. And since Monty is fully destroyed, it's possible that canonically, all 4 animatronics are destroyed. Roxanne probably wasn't in safe mode until she heard Cassidy's voice and then it sort of was a hidden code in her programming that knocks her into safe mode. Chica probably could have a safe mode as well. But as for Monty, his safe mode was destroyed as well as his entire body. the Glitchtrap Virus left him trapped in his own body, unable to scream or ask for help, so maybe Monty being electricuted to death is actually him being saved by Cassidy. He wanted to end it all, to be free from the pain and suffering he had maybe caused at the hands of Glitchtrap and Vanny. So with how he dies, I feel like Monty is at peace, possibly even appologizing to Bonnie for killing him.
