That was impressive to see the double roller bearings for the steering cable sheaves. Cheap production boats just have a bronze bushing and a bolt! That wears out ! It's the little things that say what a quality build this boat was originally. Makes it a joy to work on! Cheers Warren

Always remember that as Albert Einstein once said, "a person who never made a mistake never tried anything new". It is great watching you both learn as we can all learn from you both, and Roberta's infectious smile always is a plus. According to Eleanor Roosevelt, "a woman is like a tea bag - you can't tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water". You both must be getting very excited as putting your boat into the water for the first time and finding out that it does not leak is an amazing feeling that I have recently discovered. I know it will be a short time after launching that you will be able to take it out however here is another quote, this time from George S. Patton, "accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory", something you only can feel when this finally happens. Congratulations on all that you have achieved as it is an enormous inspiration to a great number of your patrons.

Profoundly wise statement - "Dreaming's for free still" [Eduardo Cassol, 2020 at 21:37 ] I hope you don't mind if I quote that often. Duca, You are quite correct when you say that Roberta is not just a pretty face, she is quite amazing in many ways, and it may not be a bad idea to get yourself a rubber mallet/soft faced/nylon hammer (whatever you want to call it) as sometimes you need to 'whack' things without damaging them :) Things going great guys, not much more to go now!!!

Hehehehe off course you van use my friend. That’s a universal sentence hehehehe. It’s been a loong time I think about buying a nylon mallet but never did. I will definitely by one now. Hehehe I have a rubber one but it isn’t the same thing and I actually broke it. 🤦🏻♂️

If referring to both handles we would say control Levers. One is the Speed or Revs Control Lever, Th other is the Gear selector or Forward/Reverse Control Lever. The Windruff Key (The bit that goes in the slot, Same as prop and prop shaft) should not need to be hammered in? Try some Wet and Dry (Emery Paper) and make it fit by sanding the Key.

From out of nowhere he will here Fred's reply of "yes" or "no" with a possible "maybe" thrown in for good measure. So one day soon when you are on the water with your new home and it's just the two of you, you will miss Fred and his knowledge. Boas! Valeu a pena.

The Throttle is the name for the part on the engine that the cable connects to, the lever on the pedestal is called the Throttle Lever and the cable between is called the Throttle Cable, likewise the other one is Gear Shift Lever & Gear Shift Cable which connects to the gear box (for forward and reverse gears) Don't worry Duca, we don't expect you to remember all of that and it was clear enough in the video what you were trying to get across (I can only dream of speaking Portuguese as well as you speak English) In a car the throttle parts are called an accelerator pedal / cable, if you use these names people will understand too (maybe easier to remember? even if not quite correct) Sometimes it's better to convey the meaning than worrying too much about the correct term 😁

I always look forward to Mondays, to see both your enthusiasm and energy, you both always bring a smile to my face. No matter the problem you always fine a solution and go on to the next one. I would love to have a boat like yours when you`re finished with it, I`m sure it will be bullet proof. Thanks for sharing the journey with us, Jeff McCain

You are correct my friend. Doing something wrong once means you will always do that thing right next time. This comes from many years of experience. There is always a lesson to learn from the old guys.

Trial and error, that's how you learn. Another great job, the accelerater cable didn't look too hard to get off hopefully it goes back on easy. I'm so excited for you both getting closer and closer to being able to launch. Be safe stay healthy.
