Why does buddy with the Remington rack his shells like that lmao.

I also have a 590A1, alongside multiple other Mossberg 500s, Maverick 88s and Mossberg Shockwave. All of mine function fine despite hundreds of rounds through each. It's very obvious that it's an issue with the shell feeding latches. If you bought it new, I would suggest getting it warranted. Also there are also Express 870s that have had similar issues, with the most frequently reported being rusting, stuck shells, and weak ejection. I actually bought a new production 870 Fieldmaster last year that had extraction issues and the issue was fixed via warranty. The example you have is a good one. Sample size of one.

Hey thank you for the comment! I will be sending the Mossberg in at some point.

@@34thOvercastDivision That's good. Should be a relatively simple fix. the shell latches (There are two of them, one one each side in the receiver) are drop in parts that are easily removed via taking out the trigger mechanism; they should both be effortlessly removable by hand at that point, if they don't just fall out lol. They are activated by the action arms (which is the next part to check after the shell latches). the main one is the left shell latch and it should be moving to the side whenever the action is all the way to the rear, while simultaneously the right one (the one that has a hole in the receiver for it) pivots up and down and is the part that holds the next shell in the magazine from coming out as the previous one is released to the shell lifter, and moves out of the way once the action is forward, with the left shell latch then coming back to hold the shell in the tube until the next time the action is racked. When the action is forward, you should be able to just press that shell latch and you can then remove a shell from the magazine, allowing you to unload it without cycling the action.

I hate the safety on the Mossberg and prefer the 870 but i've never seen a single Mossberg have a problem cycling.

If you are looking for a shotgun that is lighter, more impact-resistant, and has more configuration options, the Mossberg 590A1 is a better choice.
@nelsonr146710 ай бұрын
Mossberg is lighter. The 870 is more durable, and more customizable

It's unfortunate to see two such bad Americans with a pump shotgun in their hands...🤣🤣 I served in Iraq with the 590A1 super shotgun, and the 870 is also a super shotgun (the express ones a little less so)

Thank you for your service. Bad Americans? Could you explain please?

@@34thOvercastDivisionI didn't mean bad Americans, I meant Americans who don't know how to use a Shotgun correctly, that shouldn't happen.😅

The lifter falls out at rear pivot and wont load or totally jams
@ulflyng3 ай бұрын
That can happen. Few know about it. It's a flaw with the Mossbergs. Though it would then fire one shot and after that totally stop working.

Both guns are great options and are suitable for different users.

Wow. No disrespect intended, but as a veteran the Mossberg always worked. Terrible firearm handling. This video should be titled “how to induce a malfunction in a pump shotgun”.

It’s actually a faulty shell interrupter that’s being replaced. Thank you for your service, your opinion, and thanks for engagement bump.

No offence but the poor gun handling and safety issues are quite disturbing.
