That turbo placement looks like it might need a hole for some air. Very tight fitment under the hood. So sweet.

Yeah the old clearance bubble... I had a Triumph TR4 and those hoods had the clearance bubble offset to the passengers side to clear the twin Stromberg carbs sticking up. She's looking good man!

The bubble you're talking about, if I'm not mistaken, is a ford Fairlane thunderbolt.

Make an aluminum plate super tight to the parts that stick out and rivet it on the hood, kind of what you do for fender/bumper exit exhausts 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I would make a cowl induction hood scoop for it so that it will suck hot air out from under the hood and help keep the motor cool so you can take it on drag week and other events that have long street runs between tracks.

Next time you need to cut a hood u need to make a cardboard template with two sided tape on it and set it on top of the part u need to cut around. Then close the hood. Boom. Perfect mark.

What I do to cut hood is I take cardboard and the size of hood and use that to lay as if it was the hood and press down on that so i get my perfect cut line. Amd for your headlights cut the factory cover and push them in like a inward vemt amd mount 2 small 2x2 led lights so you have high and low beams and just use a cheep yellow led for turn signal so you can have a tru street car

Old trick is using some firm plasticine or similar on the underside of the hood, then when you lower it down anything touching will depress into it.

I already mentioned it to you before, go get a friggin eclipse hood and cut the bubble out, weld the eclipse bubble on your hood. No more hole, no ugly cowl hood, and looks way better than a hole in your hood or cowl...... Problem solved!
