As someone who is caught up to the Sakamoto Days manga, I'm also very hyped for the Sakamoto Days anime, the characters are memorable and its great. (Don't expect too much though since its Netflix)

I can tell you as someone that has watched the first episode and is working on the second that the animation is bad ass.

@@danielblackburn9012 1st episode looked great to me. I’ll post a review after I finish the second episode.

Completely agree. Just like how Your Name is overrated, people only like it because of the pretty animation. But not realizing the plot is just stupid

You need to raise your standards man I know we can’t have jjk and demon slayer type animation all the time but when they put so little effort into it just so they can maximise profits it’s bad and shouldn’t be defended.(Example lots of scenes have real life pictures that are blurry and then outlined to make it look like animation in the background) and a manga that is that popular and good it’s a disrespect to the original creator.

@@nitroopz8071 I’ll always take great animation. It just isn’t something that ever bothers me unless the animation is like Blue Lock level.

I think considering the amount of Human rights violations goes into making most eastern animation and how some studios create constant scenarios that puts the animators in a position where they are in offices 24/7, I’m okay taking good stories, with bad animations.
@nitroopz807114 күн бұрын
@@MelodiesKit ok cool that’s dope but they don’t need to break human rights law to make an ok animated series and like I said before it still disrespectful to the manga and it’s authors. Just go and look at some of the manga panels it just sad that something of this quality is getting treated as a cash grab. It shouldn’t happen and defending the animation of this is only allowing it to be continued.

@@Thrashkid97 did you see the scene of the mother and son “walking” across the screen. They were gliding instead of walking lol. It’s getting pretty close to blue lock

you don’t seem to know a ton about the animation side of things huh? Most studios break an astounding number of human rights to make the “Ok” looking series, along with either working on other shows on the side as well or going series to series without a break. For example the very same studio that is currently working on Sakamoto days, is also airing the new season of Dr. Stone at the same exact time, meaning there resources, and animators are split between two series. And I’m not defending the animation, but the animators who would wrongfully be targeted by those dissatisfied with the animation, ignorantly may I add.
