@@waterywingz "MURICA, FUCK YEAH!" As a non-American, the amount of US citizens, that value their "freedom" above everything else is insane. I live in Germany, guess what I have? Freedom. Even in times like these (before the whole COVID-19 thing going on, I was also as free as any human being could possibly be). I can actually go out, go for a walk, I can meet with people as long as we are 1.5 to 2 meters (about 5 to 6.5 feet) apart, I can visit my mum or a friend of mine. We are allowed to meet up with people from one other household. Hell, in the state I live in, many restaurants are open again. With strict hygiene rules etc, but they are open. I am able to walk into supermarkets and buy stuff every day. On some days they are a bit scarce on some product, but I'm generally doing quite fine, feeling relatively safe and, well, free (as free as you can in a global pandemic). I also do not own any firearms and feel pretty safe and, hell, I even feel free. Can you imagine? Not owning weapons as a civilian, that are generally used by the military does not automatically make me less free compared to owning them. We even have very good healthcare here. If I get sick, I get treatment. If the sickness is very severe, I get treatment. And you know what being healthy as opposed to being bed-ridden because of a terminal illness gives you? Right, freedom. It's almost as if healthcare systems aren't scary and aren't made to take away your freedom of living, but will actually enhance this freedom by making you not die, because you couldn't afford treatment. The US isn't the only country, that has "freedom" and US citizens aren't the only human beings on earth, that value their freedom. Wanting to be free to express oneself and live oneselfe's life is something every human on this planet inherently craves. Doesn't have anything to do with the US. So yeah, may these people pursue their freedom to choose death however they wish.
