Jimbo, after I clean the WeatherTech mats in my Crown I use a Tuf Shine foam applicator along with Gummifix from Koch Chemie for a non slippery finish on the mat. I apply and after about two minutes wipe off the residue with a microfiber towel. Leaves a nice OE look to the mats.

I'm more of a light to medium foam guy. Current favorite is P&S Xpress but I dilute it down a little to reduce the foam. Armour Detail Supply Pilot is also great. I definitely don't like a sheen left behind, just a clean factory finish.

Does The Armour leave a sheen?

I enjoy the line of Adam's Interior Cleaner and Detailer products. The things I look for are: good foaming action, no sheen, some anti-static prevention and some UV protection.

Foam is like haptic or visual feedback so you know where you’ve been! Bravo

My favorite interior cleaners are Phoenix EOD Typhon and AMMO Lather. They clean very well Foam really nice and have a nice scent and wipe away clean. Have had no issues with nav screens. I haven't used everything out there but these two are my favorites and what I compare everything to.

Hard to imagine that cleaner can be improved any further. Looks to me like you already nailed it. Well done.

i know ONR doesn't foam but can you compare it to just ONR at 1:16 dilution ratio? I've tried a few interior cleaners from Meguiars, Turtle, Griots, etc and end up returning to ONR cus it works just fine in my car and it's super cost effective and smells great. I assume it wouldn't work in a really really dirty car though

What’s the smell? Also glad you did the extra foam I think it’s a good choice in my opinion. How is it on heated days with the smell? Also when is it available?

More of a fresh scent. No date for availability yet.

Ethos has a good one because it also acts as a prep spray for their interior coating. Not like the big G company that tells you that you have to wipe everything down with a damp rag after use.

I look for the following in interior cleaners: Is it safe? pH neutral Good foam ( I like high foam because it doesn’t run into ventilated seats easily) A foaming nozzle is cool too not just when you agitate. Like carpro retyre or gesit rapid leather cleaner Smell is super important. I like the ideal of a fresh scent kind of like car pro reset. would be cool to do a masculine scent…no one is doing that. Koch Chemie active foam is sandalwood and amazing but not overbearing. Carbon collective interior cleaner has a leather scent that I want to bathe in. Currently like Koch Chemie pol star but don’t like the scent. Nice that it’s diluatble A lot there, hope that helps.

Have you tried the higher foam on perforated (p)leather seats? Would the continued foaming from the scrub ninja and that scrubby yellow brush be a possible risk for the electronics (heated / cooled seat electronics) in the perforated seat?
