It does feel kinda Weird that the dialogue in FNaF 2 set up Phone Guy/Ralph as taking over the Night Shift and working there continuously until FNaF 1, but in this story he has been explicitly a Day Shift Guard for... however long this location has been open and haven't worked a Night Shift until now.... but then I thought about how, like, the reason why he was supposed to take over the Night Shift in the first place is cause Jeremy Fitzgerald was transferred to the Day Shift after the position became.... available, and if the theory about Jeremy being the Bite of 87 victim on his first Day Shift day is correct, that would explain why Ralph never ended up taking this position. Once Jeremy got 87ed, he got put on the vacant Day Shift duties and Fritz Smith took over the Night Shift instead.

45:55 can you imagine if this was Mrs. Afton and she just went by a different name to no longer be associated with William but chose to stay to protect the neighbourhood children. As I'm typing this out though, it's just occoured to me that she lost her daughter, then lost one of her sons and then lost her husband - not even knowing what happened to him. And then her only surviving son - that we know of? Ends up also mysteriously disappearing... (the cooking in fnaf 6) she's gone through a lot without being there. Might need to come back to this to explain myself better, sorry.

Weird cultural detail; I can tell you from first-hand experience that a lot of parents in the US who bought a Genesis did not go on to by a Saturn for their kids; those same kids got a Dreamcast when it launched but Saturn just didn't catch-on very well. I think it had to do with the Megadrive and other factors; I remember in 1992 and in a handful of years after that everyone was pretty content with their Genesis. Lots of kids who had SNES ended up with an N64 and the Genesis kids were split between getting a Dreamcast or a Playstation.

Coppelia comes from the original story of the Sandman. While in the ballet adaption, that’s the name of the doll. In the book it’s the villain whose name is Coppelius. Coppelius and his automaton creation causes the main character to go mad, suspecting those he loves of being a robot

I feel like in light of this name, fnaf theorists need to start anaylzing Der Sandman as a parallel to fnaf, given its about an evil alchemist with an automaton daughter that the narrator associates with the Sandman, who will steal eyes from children who should be sleeping (fnaf 4). And people get thrown into fires. This is just a very rough analysis based on me reading the wikipedia summary and the magnus archives episode also based on the story

@@martincaspary-smith1133 they weren't refurbished, they were reverted to their og 1985 designs (the unwithereds are debunked, the classic animatronics are their og design) they didn't fix foxy, they just removed his endo 01 parts use logic also, fnaf 1 was scott's last game, WHO would do the bite? and also, the toys were DEACTIVATED since night 5 before the bite but the withereds were kept, so the toys coudn't do the bite on the day party and the withereds can roam around during the day since they have the upgrades given by the endo 02 also, nightmare foxy teaser should be a obvious example + foxy rare screen on fnaf 2

I can see this and VIP being canon but I’m not so sure about the Fazbear Frights books as those books very clearly have a very different set and progression of events from the games, though as for the Pizzaplex books I’d wager they’re more accurate and could be in canon, but could also have been mostly meant to clarify the story of the games whilst not actually being canon to them.

Something weird that I noticed while you were reading was that at 7:10 there is a seemingly random use of the word "fritz" when it says that two of the monitors are "always on the fritz". I just feel like it's really weird to use this specific word in this phrase rather than saying something like "but they are are always broken". The use of "fritz" I think was intentional as it's of course Mike's alias in FNAF 2, and it's the name of Foxy's MCI victim. Some thoughts: "rumors about missing kids and lingering bad press from "the bite of '87"" No mention of the DCI, which showed the Toys in its mini game, does this mean the DCI hasn't happened yet? No mention of the Toy Animatronics in general either is interesting. Also the bad press from the bite of '87 is described as "lingering", so I'm assuming that's something very well known and people think of that when they hear "Freddy's". "You heard some of the staff twist that around to [...] M-E-A-T. [...] People deal with tragedy and loss in their own ways, sometimes with humor." Staff dealing with tragedy and loss? Also sudden staff vacancy in relation to the closure? Is this implying the MCI kids were children of staff members? Or maybe the DCI kids? If it's the DCI kids, maybe that happened during the closure after the bit of '87 and management covered up the incident? Oh, Mrs Andrews lost her kid at a young age *years* ago? One of the MCI kids' last name might be Andrews? The loooore! 👀 Sega Genesis gives us the year 1989 (earliest)! Interesting! Not sure if it means anything, but the song Ralph hears from the stall where "it's me" is written, the only thing I could find online was a poem "A Dialogue" by George Herbert: But when all my care and pains Cannot give the name of gains To Thy wretch so full of stains, What delight or hope remains? (Only a part of the poem.) I looked up an interpretation of what the poem means (with a bit of my own interpretation): It's about a man talking to god, the man considers himself to be too full of sin (stains) for god to be talking to him, though god assures only he can judge people. I'm not sure how this would relate to Golden Freddy or Foxy or anyone else. Maybe it doesn't mean anything?

Still early in the video, so idk if you catch this, but the location is said to be recently "temporarily closed". This could easily mean that they closed for a week or so after the last night guard was killed by the animatronics, requiring phone guy to fill in. Seems like the book is affirming the Fnaf 1 lore that guards are getting killed in the middle of the night on a regular basis there.

Unrelated but around the 23 minute mark, revisiting the bite of 87 is kinda weird for me. Oddly enough i kinda still agree with the game theory ideas that Foxy [and by extension Mangle] have too big of mouths to possibly leave even an adult the possibility of just losing a frontal lobe. But for Toy/Chica, i dont think its them either, i feel like the beak shape is a bit narrow, its honestly one of the variants of Bonnie or Freddy, although it may not explain why Foxy is out of order, i feel like perhaps if it was one of the toys who did it, perhaps scrapping them and going back to the originals would seem like some kind of "course correction". I dont know but i just feel like if Mangle or Foxy bite you, you wont have much of your head left regardless of age or size.

Yeah his first video is 11 months old and his first FNAF vid is 9 months old. Also GiBi's first attempt at a FNAF video was a 9 hour long lore review which got taken down for 30 seconds of audio at the beginning. Nothing all that sudden about it he just got into FNAF lore and stuff later than most and got punished for it during his first attempt. Fuhnaff who only got to FNAF lore about 1-2 years ago from what I remember, is unironically one of the most respected theorists especially when it comes to more recent and new theories in the community. I think GiBi is fine here.
