Hello Jules! I just finished this workout, and I have to compliment you on yet another winning one! I loved how comprehensive it is, and as a woman in her 60's, with a family history of hip fractures, I'm acutely aware of how I need to maintain and improve my balance. This workout will do just that! I also love your other videos, and I would rate them all 10+ if I could! I'm not able to get to a gym right now, and I was quite depressed about growing out of shape and losing energy, but I truly feel that your videos are an absolute lifesaver! Wow, you have seriously helped people all over the world, and making the world a nicer place is very needed right now. Wishing you all the best, and thanks for everything!

I remember back in high school I didn't know what I wanted to be or what to study, but I definitely knew I wanted to be in a profession where I could help people. I just love these all in one workouts! I've been working out to your videos now for I think just over 2 years and I feel so much better -- no stiffness and minimal joint pain. I'm 66 and plan to be around for a good while longer!

Thanks so much for your kind comment, Nancy. One thing to do to make the balance a little bit easier is to bend the supporting leg a little bit more and definitely feel free to have a chair beside you to hold onto as needed. Glad to read that your hubby enjoys the music!

I love this video, especially the music! It makes me go further than I think I can go ❤ I am 72 years old and I am now exercising every day, mostly with your videos. My balance has improved greatly. I love kickboxing 😂 I truly appreciate when you include the number of steps in your videos since I don’t have a FitBit or anything like it. I am trying to count my steps each day! I sometimes do a 30 min video in 2 or 3 segments throughout the day…seems to work better for me and keeps me energized. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your channel…so much variety and inspiration 😊 Thank you!

I loved this one Jules! I appreciated the dynamic strengthening so we were still getting our steps in🙌🏻. The balance move most challenging was the hip extension but I did it! Doing your workouts for a year now has certainly improved all areas of my life. Thanks for being a beacon of light and health for so many❤

Loving your workout gear Jules. Your leggings resemble the mountains behind you! I adapted the middle section without using weights (still misplaced) by doing each movement strongly and in double time. That worked! And then YOU joined ME dancing the last 10 minutes! Great fun and lots of steps! 😁 Annette x🎈

Hi Linda, it’s okay to do the all-in-ones everyday since we usually only do one set of strength training exercises. If you ever feel that a muscle group is quite sore, omit working that particular muscle group the next day and just do the rest of the workout.

Hi Jules, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your workouts! I am 52, have an autoimmune that prevents intense workouts, and have bad hips from an auto accident. Your workouts are low impact and provide a well rounded workout. Thank you! I was an avid runner, running 40-60 miles a week and had to stop. Trying to stay in shape for mobility, flexibility , and strength has been a journey. Thank you for providing a great low impact, fun, and modest approach! ~~ Laura

I really did love the workout and never felt guilty for using a chair to help to support me during the balance part. At 71 I keep trying for the balance and you make it okay to not feel defeated because I can’t do the balance part like you do. Modifying for me works and I still get a great workout that makes me feel great.

What weight dumbbells would you recommend? In Kg if possible as in the UK and weights are In Kg not lbs🥴 love your workouts, thank you. ❤️

Oh, sorry about that, Sue! I rarely put the weight down that I'm using so it didn't dawn on me at all to put it down in kg. I will try to remember to do that next time. The weight that each person uses is really based on what works for each person. My suggestion is to go as heavy as you can so you build strength, but also ensure the weight that you use feels right for you and that your form is still good during each exercise. You can also switch the weights out to another set of weights during the workout if you want heavier/lighter. Bottom line is that the exercise should feel quite challenging by the time you get to the end of the set.

Hello! Have been following your workout videos. They are good and yield results. Lately I have found that results are not showing up as quickly as before, and it might be due to menopause. Could you please start a series on workout for menopausal women? Thank you

It's normal to hit plateaus throughout exercise routines. The best way to see changes is to really focus on ensuring you're doing enough strength training. I'll add a 15 minute strength workout that you can add on to any workout every 2nd day. You can do whatever cardio or all-in-one you want, and then add this one on: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWqzhXmQmLd0bJIsi=FKMRSoqqAM_uu0Hv Ideally, if you like the all-in-ones, do those ones and the strength workout on the same day. On the opposite days, choose a variety of cardio workouts. Aim to do two interval training workouts a week, and at least one longer workout a week that puts you out of your comfort zone (if you usually do 30 minutes, choose a 40 min or longer one day). Let me know how it goes!

Good one! I give myself high marks for arm-leg (hand-eye) coordination...and a solid B for balance (well, make it a B-minus). I'm good when standing still, but add arm or leg movement, and that kinda gets me. But, I just kept plugging along, congratulating myself when I could do 2 or 3 in a row without putting my foot down!

Since I’m re-doing the 25 week strength program, I saved this for Saturday. Great workout - will definitely save to my playlist. Beginner or intermediate? I think it’s whatever you make it. Which weight? How energetic? Simple knee lift or intense crunch? It’s totally up to the individual and that really makes this a great workout! Thanks, Jules!

This is great Jules, thank you. I have peripheral neuropathy which is at its least problematic right now so I can manage this. Hooray. So is great for my mental health too. If anyones interested I found that Madonna's 'Ray of light' fits perfectly with the fast beat, as does Robert Miles 'Children'. Just for those who change up the mysic every now and then! 🎉

🎉 I saw, I sweated and I conquered! Had a little trouble on the last set of lateral leg scissor type exercise (multiple left hip problems),so I walked out the last 5. I listened to your suggestions AND I didn't feel bad about it Jules, I felt good for finishing the workout 💪 😊

Welcome to my channel and thank you for letting me know that you're new here. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. HI Jules. This is Celine. WEll I have been doing your videos and love all of them. I was doing the lose weight exercies and then had medical issues and had to stop. I was doing chair exercises and the found all in one workouts and cardio workouts. I remember asking you about them because I cannot for the life of me lose weight. I'm 66. So i started the all in one on day and day 2 i do a cardio workout. But I'm still not losing. Soooo let me ask you. My muscles are getting toned and I love doing the weights and the squats. In order for me to lose weight I want to try something else. do you think If I do your weight loss video on day, then on day 2 do an all in one video, day 3 go to a weight loss view and go back an forth. Do you think that will help. I do watch what I eat but am on quite a few medicaitons. I want weight loss and muscle toning. Any advice you can give I would GREATLY appreciate it. thank you so much. Hi Celine, losing weight can definitely be a challenge for lots of people, especially when medications are involved. Strength training definitely helps since it builds muscle which will help to speed up your metabolism. It's difficult for me to recommend specific workouts since each person is different, plus it's hard for me to know your workout history, etc. My recommendation to most people is to start strength training. I have 6 levels of strength workout calendars on my website. I would suggest going there and choosing the level that you think would work for you and tack on a cardio workout each day (1 day a week do a longer one than usual, and ideally, add in 2 interval workouts a week). If you don't want to follow a strength training program, you can do the all-in-ones daily and add on cardio workouts. I'd also recommend adding in walks or movement at other times of the day. You can check out my blog posts regarding a 2 minute movement challenge. Every little bit helps!

Perfect video Jules! The best I have to say! You keep us all on track! I live in Dubai and it’s either hot and humid or windy and sandy!neither is ideal so I do my workouts inside now and have recommended you to my friends in their 70’s and 80’s the balancing exercises are excellent with tendency to falling at our age! We did this one this morning; definitely had to modify some moves, and sometimes go slower, but we did it. Very challenging balance moves; hopefully we’ll get better at those.

Dear Jules, I am 75 and love your videos. How often should I be doing this all in one - cardio, balance and weights - I find the balance moving weights at the same time the most difficult part. I’m used to doing balance without the weights. Should I be doing this one daily? How many steps in it?

Hi! If you like the all-in-ones, I created a playlist for them so you can find them all in my place on my channel. In regards to how often to do them...it really depends. If you're new to strength training, and feel soreness after a workout, I'd suggest doing them every second day. If you're used to working out, you could do them every day since we only do 1 set of weights for each body part. Once we starting doing 2-3 sets of strength training and lifting heavier weights, you want to allow the muscles to have more recovery time and do the workouts every second day. You can still do cardio every day. The stop count in this one is 2127. The all-in-ones have less steps in them because we're doing more than just cardio (but these are more beneficial).

This was a great all-in-one workout. My favorite workout of all is still the Classic Rock. Haha. I do it as an add-on at least 3 times a week. I read through all the comments and no one posted how many steps are in this workout. My pedometer is just not accurate. Has anyone calculated this? Thanks for all the good work!

Dear Jules - when I bend my knees to do the stretches like the calf stretch at the end of this video, my knee cap moves sideways back and forth, not painful . What can I do to stop this? Also happens when I do lunges. Would one of your other videos help and if so which one? Thank you !

Hi Charlotte, I'd suggest seeing a physiotherapist to ask their opinion. If it's not painful, it might not be an issue at all. By building strength in your legs, you'll build muscles to support the knees and maybe it'll stop, but the physio staff are the ones to go to if you want a specialist's opinion. In the meantime, I'd suggest doing the calf stretch seated instead. You'll stretch it out just as much from a seated position:)

All in ones are my go to. This was quite hard at bits but doable. I loved the way u fitted 3 exercises into one..I mean 3 areas into one move...u r amazing. I really enjoyed the balance ones... Another success ❤❤❤❤

I found you looking for chair exercises because I didn’t want to lose my strength. I fell in love with your videos and your sweetness and I am still working out with you appreciating all of them. Another good one Jules. I had to keep my fingertips on the top of a chair for some of the balance exercised. I need more core strengthening and balance practice. What do you think?-Claudia

It's totally okay that you had to keep your fingertips on the chair, Claudia. That's very normal. With continued practice, you'll get better. Balance also improves with getting our legs stronger to help support us.

Hi! It depends. For most of my all-in-ones, I have us doing one set of strength training which isn't taxing the muscles TOO much. We're still challenging the muscles, but your muscles likely aren't sore the next day. You can do these every day and still use heavier weights. But, if you feel soreness in any area of your body the next day (for example, the biceps), just skip the bicep exercises in the workout the next day. Otherwise, you can do these daily. I would suggest using a different all-in-one workout each day, though, just to provide variety and a different challenge for the muscles.
