Thanks guys. The Smiths were the soundtrack of my life when I was seventeen. Now I'm 57 and they still matter.

Such a great band from Manchester, England in the eighties. They have been very influential on the alternative rock scene ever since. Other great songs of theirs: 'This Charming Man, 'Stop Me If You Think That You've Heard This One Before.'

A cover of this was used as the theme tune for the popular US, TV show, Charmed. That's where you might have heard it.

This is the original version of the song. The cover that is most widely known is by Love Spit Love. They were a spin-off/side project of Richard and Tim Butler of The Psychedelic Furs. It was first used in the movie " The Craft". In '98 it was used for the theme song of " Charmed!"

I’d like to suggest something a little different. Try a few soundtracks. The Crow is a great soundtrack and is one of the 3 I’m going to list that really encapsulates a lot of the 90’s vibes. A couple others would be the Spawn soundtrack as well as Natural Born Killers. Honorable mention goes to The Craft soundtrack and S.F.W. soundtracks as well. It would give you a chance to sample many different artists but keep something like a theme going. Maybe even check out the movies if you feel like it.
