they sent son of sam to the mental hospital where my aunt was head psychiatric nurse. they sent quite a few murderers there. one of the worst was robert garrow. we asked who scared her the most. she said this woman who used to pick her up like a baby even after servers warnings not to! my aunt was 4’11”. we said that’s not so scary & she said it was when you knew she had killed all 11 of her babies

Not all these guys or crimes are sexual motivated. Even if it is a guy who only goes after Women. Granted, the majority of serial killers seem to have some sexual tie-in, but not all. That expert just seemed to dismiss everything Berkowitz did as an extension of something sexual. I didn't get that and I seen several doctors disagree also. I think it's an easy assumption. One I don't think applies here.

This was a look into the world of NYPD...They broke into Berkowitz car without a warrant. The entire investigation has a thick cloud. I'm not saying Berkowitz wasn't involved...The police no different than today...lock on to one dude...and take it to the bank. NYPD made their bones...huge list of promotions, came after.... The investigative reporter has a mountain of questions...you could tell he becomes obsessed. That said; those questions should have been looked into

I have a psychology degree. So did the nut case who murdered 9 unarmed randomly selected soldiers at the same building I signed out of the Army on retirement at. I don't personally regard psychology as a science since like most social "sciences" the personal emotional biases of the "scientist" are going to inevitably distort the data. There was an experiment I read about in college where they asked people to count up large amounts statistical data on an alleged esp experiment. All the test subjects made occasional math errors but they all made most of their errors supporting whatever they personally believed about esp being real or not.
