That "alright, Jesus" out of Ralph was always hilarious and ultimately telling. There's a reason he lasted more than a season, because he recognized when he had to back down, unlike Richie, Blundetto, and Feech. There's a school of thought that says it wasn't a love of animals. Tony was still carrying the way Ralph disrespected him by killing Tracee at the BadaBing. Jeffrey Bank, up until the Soprano's I really got tire of the cliched gangster movies; Also, Goodfella's and the Godfather as good as they were showed their main characters to be too glamorouswith an anit hero theme, it was too pat. The Soprano's however developed their characters to be flawed, other than Bobby Bacala they were all scum bags and back stabbing thugs. David Chase in some cases went out of his way to tell his viewers they are evil and low life parasites. 1:50. Carmine looks just like Livia in the scene when her and Tony fight at the dinner table. Eating through high end drama. This show and food.

I can't believe people think Paulie was Tony's most loyal soldier. He messes things up every chance he gets.
@lanadelriki58922 жыл бұрын
He was ready to switch families. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if he knew about Tony getting clipped. Honestly I think the point of the sopranos is they are all full of shit and will go to the best situation no matter who gets in the way. Tony was a mess by the end and killed 2 of his best men (Christopher and Ralph, plus Furio left) so I seriously wouldn’t be surprised if Paulie had something to do w Tonys death
@MobHeataEnt12 жыл бұрын
It's funny how John gets to Paulie by saying things like "He asks about you" and "He thinks the world of you" (referring to Carmine Sr.) he sure had Paulie fooled lol.

That seemed like a continuity error for me, since he had no wife or other family, I can't believe they wouldn't do (something) for his mom. Maybe a show with friends or dinner

He's been in a prison far away though, and actually he's been visited by his nephew Little Paulie if I am not wrong. He was the one who actually told Paulie about the joke.

Most of the characters are. One thing I love about this series is it kind of shows even though its the brutal and glamorous life of the mafia, it's still the same old story for any kind of a supervisor -- dealing with your employees' problems, untangling issues, and as Tony once so eloquently putting it "unfucking what they just fucked up."
@paulrodriguez5958 Жыл бұрын
Out of all the things done by Paulie, this was the worst one (besides killing the old lady for cash). This was just high school type move that almost got someone killed and even himself almost killed.
