I thought I was the only one who recognized that I put this scene up there is just a top 10 seen for me. Like I told my buddy it is the very small things that this man does that just is incredible. And him tapping that plate is just crazy cool. The other scene I love is when Meadow calls him a mob boss and he kind of loses it

Yeah but it comes at a cost. Peace of mind. When you live the life of a criminal you don't know if someone is gonna snitch and cause you to go to jail, if the authorities find some evidence that can put you in jail, if someone kills you for something personal, or if someone kills you because of business. Jail or death. No one wants that life for their son.

IrishCarney that’s not necessarily a bad thing though. any actor needs a great director, and Chase was superb at casting people with limited acting ability in roles which didn’t really require them to act, just be themselves; a lot of megastars fall into this category of actor, like Robert Downey Jr or Anthony Hopkins. they actually don’t have much range but they’re so iconic that they have roles written with them in mind, and they kill it because they’re so charismatic. having said that, i tend to much prefer a genius like James or Edie, who bring such depth to their characters that it elevates anything they appear in, and when they’re paired with each other and someone like David Chase they create moments of real profundity.

Being a doctor is not as powerful as Tony says or as it once was. In between the massive debt, insurance companies, lowering reimbursements, losing out on your 20s, increasing competition from advanced nurses not to mention the massive stress and long hours, calling it a demanding job is an understatement.

While I completely agree that being a doctor is not all it’s cracked out to be, I disagree with this notion that your 20s are the only time to experience life. There is literally nothing you can do or experience in your 20s that you cannot experience in your 30s.
