A handmade Cross Nib. I have one on a Conid BF and it's a gem. Mine is more useful in sketching than with writing because it is so broad when writing horizontal lines. Very interesting.

I have found that most stacked nibs are better for lettering or drawing.

I've wondered if an oblique can have a taper, kinda how zooms and nags can wider on low angles, a curvy oblique with variation based on angle/rotation.

It can, and that nib does, but it is slight. I'd have to say it is one of the most difficult grinds I've ever done

I am digging up on how to do the Retipping. Just came across your videos. Very informative. By any chance you made in developments in Retipping technique? Thanks

I didn't, but my friend Tim of Hooligan Pens did. He had a custom machined slitting saw jig made and bought a $10,000 mini resistance welder. He's making nibs from start to finish, but not offering retipping services.
