I've just started watching Betty Hutton movies and I have enjoyed every one so far. I was never much for musicals but I wait for the music in her pictures. Very funny presentations by her and clever lyrics by the writers. This movie is a gem. I almost like it as much as "And the Angels Sing." That one is tough to follow.

I can't watch this without the sound! So revolting that the Music messes things up! I am a Pianist and was a child Prodigy but I detest the Music Industry because they pay the musicians virtually nothing. I worked for the largest Indie Label (at the time) and I wrote the Contracts and upped the Royalty Payments above what the going low rate was, How dare they pay the Musicians nothing and go after folks who want to use a few minutes of the music? Great film and it is a good restoration!

As to the two muted songs , hard to believe that those copyrights would still be active. Other shows muted music just at the beginning perhaps to get around the problem? Would be nice if PizzaFlix would explain why these were silenced. The remaining 3 - 4 music pieces were not muted.

"Danny" showed all the signs of being an abuser. His jealousy, mistrust, disrespect of "Judy" was classic abuser. Cutting her off and not allowing her to express herself was obviously part of his suppression of her. I like Don DeFore the actor, but "Danny" the character was hard to watch...

I love Betty Hutton, but it is a very big same that the first two songs she sings with the band are incorrectly transferred. They cannot be heard. It sounds like the mono sound track was transferred to the two channel modern system in mono with the phase invented from one line and the sound cancels out completely.
