for newer viewers and users of the build. to get Eleonora's Poleblade you do NOT have to follow through Yura's questline. he can be found (on my early game) near the seaside ruins in Limgrave under a large arc of stone. you can kill him, receive his weapon (a katana), and then go back to the second church and she will invade. this is true as of 3.28.23. best, UW

To get Eleonora's pole: - Go to Yura located just below the dragon burn ruins (limgrave) under some big destroyed wall and speak through all his dialogue - Now go to the main academy gate grace at raya lucaria and walk through the north seal (don't press interact to teleport to the other side, just walk through the seal) There will be a red summon sign on the bridge. Activate it and kill the bloody finger enemy. After that speak through all of Yura's dialogue again - Finally go to the second church of marika at the altus plateau and kill Eleonora

DUDE!!!! I started a character using your samurai build and transitioned to twinblades around lvl60's. I was playing around with the Eleonora's poleblade and my Godskin Peeler switching ashes of war and noticed that I can do bleed, frost and fire damage at the same time LAST NIGHT, and you posted this! I only have my Eleonora's at +6 at the moment but that thing kicks ass already, and a Godskin Peeler at +16 equiped with whatever frost ash of war I had lol.

It might be worth dipping into faith later on into the build for incantations like Fire Grant Me Strength (with the dragon communion seal scaling mostly with arcane, you won't need more than 25 faith). Plus a bit more strength for swapping out your twinblade for Godskin Peeler (which has better DEX scaling so you don't have to dip into INT).

Ok, this is what is missing from this video. I started the game and followed this to the tee. I'm up to the point that Eleonora's Poleblade. But the first time I got there it was not Eleonora it was a spawn out of the ground that had a twisted sword. I was mad at first but did some research and found you also have to complete the Bloody Finger Hunter Yura Questline. This is a must. This is still do able and I was not a lvl 6 by the time I got to Eleonora and got the blade. This is a pretty amazing build video and tonight I'm off for the frost ash.

It isn’t. I’ve read too that it is a must but she appeared to me anyways. I killed Yura the first time I met him. He was under a bridge I think and I could talk to him but I wanted his katana so I just killed him. After that I was just playing the game and by the time I got to the church Eleonora just spawned behind me. I’m playing offline and I didn’t even start Yura’s questline, maybe one of these is the reason.

It was a Lesser Sanguine Noble that greeted me on the first run up there. I picked up the Ash of War: Poisonous Mist to eliminate it. A lot of running a circle around the church letting the poison do the work. No Yura or Eleonora right after. Will progress Yura's questline next.

Get both blades, do stormveil castle, upgrade your weapons, activate your great rune. You should melt the knight after that. And it is still early game. After the knight, go to liurnia crystal cave. Upgrade your weapons. You should be really op at this point. It was hard to take the knight before this, lack of damage was an issue to me.

I’m still learning my way around the finer points of soulslike combat mechanics. Hey bro! Started this build yesterday and it's awesome so far. A couple of things that need tweaking...(for example you need to complete Yura's questline to get Eleanora to show up and the exact spot to get her to jump off has actually changed since the patches have come through. It'll be right behind the church where she spawns and you can get around a little edge where she will come at you and be slightly elevated. She may roar and knock you off and it'll probably take a couple of tries but it can be done. I just did it yesterday. Also, the tree spirits will be very difficult unless you upgrade your weapons first so I would recommend anyone following this guide to do that part first.) In addition to all of that when do you think you are going to make the follow-up video for this build? I'm curious to see what changes could be made to really optimize this idea in the late game. Maybe using the godskin peeler like some people in the comments have suggested? I'm also curious as to which talismans you would suggest for this build other than radagon's sorseal and the jump attack one. I would love to hear from you whenever you get a chance. Thanks again for another great video!

the artist is my follow up to this video, it evolves the idea of applying multiple status effects at the same time (from 2 to 4). I feel this build is already complete, the only change you can make is swap out the normal twinblade for the godskin peeler for a little bit more AR but it's not worth an entire video nor is it that important imo. For talismans you would just run the same as in any meta bleed pve build (you can check out my bleed build for more info): claw, both winged sword insignia's and the lord of blood's exultation

@@NizarGG ah, okay awesome! I appreciate the quick response. If i'm not mistaken the winged sword talismans don't stack so for the 4th slot I would still be using radagon's sorseal, correct? You need at least 10 strength to wield the twinblade and the only way to have that while following the exact stat allocation presented here is if you have the sorseal on at all times as well.

yeah I meant the ones with different names for sword insignia's since they have the same effect basically, so Millicent prosthesis + (rotten) winged sword insignia. And no I wouldn't use the soreseal past 40 vigor, I would just re-invest the points into strength from dex or arcane into strength for that purpose. If you're talking about the regular twinblade then it's only 1 extra point for the bandit's starting stat distribution either way.

I followed this build exactly and I am now level 86 and I can confirm that it is very strong , and insanely fun. I'm actually in love with it and I'm so glad I found this video. However, some things in the video are understated. Like how hard it will be to defeat both of these avatars from an early phase. What I did for the first one in Caelid was make 10 fire pots and use that to deplete most of his health, finished him off with fire arrows and some melee when he was weak enough to get in. You can also run around the tree to help Dodge his magic. The second one I was much higher level by the time I was able to beat him but basically I allocated 4 of my flasks to Magic replenish FP as opposed to the normal 1 I carry. It's one of those bosses that disappears and goes back when you go too far I kept hitting him with ice spear and retreating, replenishing my FP and restarting the fight when necessary. Takes about 10 or 12 hits and every few will break his Poise so that you can hit him with a crit . As for the guy on horseback, to get ice spear, he gave me quite a bit of trouble(I was still a baby level 30 or so) because a random bear kept spawning in the fight but after a few tries you should be able to take him down. You could actually cheese him pretty decently if you have the patience since he also disappears and Retreats when he chases you too far, so you can get the first hit on him every time if you're actually way too weak like I was . I deafeated Godrick, Red Wolf, Renalla, Radahn, Draconic tree sentinel( start this fight by maxing out on ice spear, Trust) Godfrey(ghost version) , Morgott(REALLY easy with this build-his HP MELTED), and Fire Giant all at appx levels 55 - 86 with this build. Then I backtracked and defeated the first godskin Noble but I mostly got him with sleep pots and summon distraction( when he starts rolling around and you're only strong enough to weild a bucker). I'm now trying to beat Rykard with the weapon the game gives you for him which I've upgraded to about six, trying to get the Bell bearing for somber stones four five six and seven right now so I can upgrade it more before trying again. The most important thing to do here is to upgrade all these weapons every single chance you get. Get the Bell bearings ASAP . My twin blade is now plus 20 and I'm really debating on killing that death root guy (Gurranq I think) to take his dragon somberstone to get eleanora to plus 10😄. I already fed his ass for death routes but I don't want to kill him if it's going to screw up the story. My other frost build is great knife with hoarfrost and reduvia and although the reduvia technically does more damage at level 8, those daggers never get any love because this build really is that fun. It also has considerably longer range than dagger which is more important than it sounds. ice Spear and spinning attack literally break poise on bosses so often that it's ridiculous. I put every single stat Point into vigor and dexterity proportionately and didn't start investing in Arcane till about level 69 or so . Starscourge heirloom, and Radagons Sorseal help compensate for the low strength you will experience mid game. Good luck tarnished.

Yeah that second Avatar in Caelid took me until I was level 70+ to beat it. It's such a cheese monster with the rot and the golden projectiles. I finally beat it after getting in a rhythm of running away up and then off the hill as he chased after he did one of his projectile attacks.

I used to struggle with the trees, the key is rolling behind them when they do the jump to punish them, and if you have a fire weapon they get melted

I was able to beat the second putrid avatar without healing early by staying close to him so he uses his predictable butt slam attack. Dodge roll and two jump attacks, repeat, dodge other moves.Took me a bit of tries though. Sometimes my brain would be like dodge, but my reaction wasn't registering quick enough.

Ok confirmed. You need to do yura’s quest for this to work. Otherwise no eleonora. Briefly, go up the ravine in Mirkwood to trigger first bloody finger invasion. Win. Talk to yura. Go to lurnia, get academy glinstone, enter academy. Go right after grace inside and find summon. Go help yura. Pain in the ass fight with this build early on but I used the bleed dagger neejus drops and that helps. THEN go to second church. My only problem is of her, I haven’t gotten her to jump.

Tips for killing greyoll. Near the gate front grace there will be a chest on a carriage guarded by 2 soldiers nearby that will contain a flail. The ash of war on the flail deals bleed damage very quickly and is one of the best ways to kill greyoll early on in the game. In addition, if you run fast enough to the fort faroth grace as you kill greyoll and rest immediately, you can get the runes from killing greyoll while still keeping it alive allowing you to farm the dragon several times. This is sort of a glitch, so it is your choice if u want to exploit it and it might be patched in later updates.

Just did this this week. Couple notes, make sure you do all of Yura’s dialogue or Eleanora won’t spawn. When she does, you can bait her to attack you near the edge and she will jump off. I did this on a horse and just jumped up the next rock and she fell off. Easy. Also it seems like the strength from this build is because the weapons are so upgraded. Most of my boss fights with these weapons I don’t get bleed to proc. I’m mostly using jumping L1. But it still shreds everything because you have a +16 weapon early game lol and +6 for the somber. The twinblades ash of war is really powerful but the distance isn’t that great. If an enemy is aggro you usually only get one shot, sometimes two with it. But at +16 that’s enough. Hope this helps for anyone looking to try this.

I think this video was before they nerfed the status effect build up when dual wielding weapons. So the frost and bleed buildup happens slower now when you dual wield these.

I've tried out a lot of your builds, my favorite being the great reaper frost mage, even after the nerf to the status effects when dual wielding. However, none of your builds have even touched the blasphemous blade build. I don't have a link, but you get Blasphemous blade, Sword of milos (they say to keep it on your back, but I get the dex to dual wield it as it adds bleed), the Ancestral spirit's talisman, Shard of Alexander (which I swap with Dragoncrest Greatshield depending on the area), the fire scorp charm (which I swap for the greatjar shard), and the Erdtree's favor +3. Armor: they say crucible knights set (either one) but I usually get the one bernharl drops or the one from the first Volcano manor quest invasion (this was more recent, as I found out it has better defenses for less weight than the other 3 options). For physick - Fire shrouding, and Faith knot. for spells - Flame, Grant me strength, Bestial Vitality/Erdtree's blessing, and I add howl of shabriri. Absolutely destroys just about everything, even in the DLC, especially thanks to Taker's Flame healing you on hit, and the extra hp gain from kills (and the doubled up fp gain). I'd love to see your take on that, if it could even be made more OP than it already is.

Just wanted to give big props to this build. I have a full int mage lvl 135, a guts str build the same level and I HAD a bleed build that did great until radigon. Switched bleed uchi build to this and it's the only character I've beaten the game on. Only adjustment is I swapped Eleonora for godskin peeler and added ice spear to that. Then put seppuku on my twinblade. Easy mode on the elden beast. Started ng+ and downed godrick, radahn and rennala all in about an hour. It's soo good and kills so efficiently I don't know what I could make with my other characters that would go as smooth as this.. maybe ill dual weild godskin peeler for asthetics but this build has ruined elden ring for me. And I appreciate that! Thanks so much!

Scavenger's Curvedswords work well, One with Frost one with Poison and just using Fire's Deadly SIn on yourself to keep resetting the Frost. Bam, build done. Spam jump attacks and win. Use the talisman that boost damage on consecutive hits, the ones that boost damage on poison and bleed and room for claw talisman too. Malenia's rune, idk, something along those lines!

When you have progressed a bit more in the game, after beating Radahn, you can get the Silver tear mask in Nokron. It will boost your arcane stat significantly while wearing it. (Its not a talisman)

And another thank you. This and your bleed whips build got me to the final boss. I had to respec to dex/int at the end and use the ice spear Ash to kill them from range instead, but up until then, everything else was defeated by this. It also helped me beat Malenia in 4 tries!

For those getting stuck on Eleonora and keep jumping to soon (like me), behind the church, to the right from where Nizar GG jumps, there is an elevation with a small outcrop behind it. I was able to stand there and have her jump attack over me, straight into the abys.

I've played several builds now, switched from this build to the blasphemous blade build and finished off the Elden Beast......went into NG+ obliterating everything with blasphemous blade, wanting to go back to dual wielding twinblades....so....new character time and just going to do this build, its my favorite and fits my playstyle perfectly.

For anyone having issues getting Eleonora to spawn you need to progress Yura’s questline! I had to get invaded by Agheal lake and then also assist him just outside the academy. Once I did that and went back to the church Yura was dying and she invaded. It took a few tries to get her to follow me off the cliff. If you just run off the cliff you will die before she has time to fall, you have to jump off. Also I was curious if this would trigger the Radahn festival. As long as you do NOT activate any of the graces after you’ve gone up the lift it won’t trigger the festival. I even grabbed the golden seed and the map but I was still good. If you activate any of the graces it will trigger the festival.

Saw the quadruple status one first, moved from that video to this one. I am never using 4 statuses cuz this build looks so much more fun, even if it isn’t as good dual twin blades looks amazing to wield and I never would’ve thought of this without you so thank you (in the late game can replace twin blade with the godskin’s apostle one and personally ima put poison instead of cold so both weapons scale off arcane and so I can use the talismans for bonus attack damage)

As a poleblade user maxed at lvl 150 i like to point out some tips. I'm doing ridiculous damage with just the ash of war from Eleonoras poleblade. When connected it goes over 4000dmg with just a one time swing. Additionally with the Thorny cracked tear this can be enhanced. I ditched the dual wielding for a dragon communion seal and invested faith points to 15. This enables the fire Grant me strength buff which works extremely well with this build as the weapon scales both physical as with fire. As for talismans Millicent's protheses is a must have, the (rotten) winged sword talisman complements this even further. I just got the shard of Alexander yesterday and will experiment on that but i believe this should give another 15%buff to the AoW. I heard that after you put on your buff and then two hand the weapon bleed procs in faster but I'm unable to really test if that's true.
