I mow solo...and I wouldn't be doing it for 20-25/hour. I mow because after overhead/taxes I can make $30-$40/hour. I can't really blame people who don't want to do the same hot, sweaty, dirty work for almost half as much and hour.
@PuBearsticks Жыл бұрын
I share your sentiments 100% I am a solo operator, I bill regular maintenance at 60/hr, cleanups and landscaping at 80/hr. I couldn't afford to pay a crew what I know the work is worth without doubling or tripling my list. Long days in the hot sun, working with potentially dangerous equipment. Imo this is worth 20/hr to start and way more if you're dependable. Instead of being that guy who underpays his employees and wonders why people call in sick or no call no show when you need them most and wonders why the quality of work isn't up to par with what I provide I've found it much easier and less stressful to do it on my own.

Pay them more, and dispense with those "bonuses" that are yanked from under them for being one minute late. They had to do away with that due to all the wrecks and reckless driving it caused.
