Maybe every CEOs must say, "This is my country, these are my people, I should pay them what they're worth." instead of "My customer is a cheapskate and my investors hope to see better numbers, I should ask my oompa loompas to work more."
@ppen83593 ай бұрын
That would be a foolish thing for a CEO to say. The CEO keeps his job by giving returns to his investors and not making life comfortable for workers. The fact of the matter is that we investors put pressure on CEOs because there are other places we can take our investor money to get higher returns. If you want our money to stay and you get to keep your job, then work. If not, then we pull money out. Absolutely no issues with that.

@@ppen8359 There is an issue lol . Maybe for dumbos isnt . But for normal functioning people it is . With this mentality your money is gonna go down the drain and I really hope it is . I even doubt you are an investor . You must be a 10 year old who has gotten a keyboard

Great work! The one takeaway I hope people take is Hard Work is not linked to Productivity. Things like Technology, Economy, Money etc play a crucial role. People must be allowed to pursue their passions and not forced to work longer hours. Instead of looking at Japan and China where hard work is glorified, India needs to look at Europe and USA as good examples.

Pretty foolish. If profit goes to your boss then he pays taxes and money goes to the country. Profits also foster growth and you get to keep your job. Your boss knows the rules and government knows the rules as well. It is only people who complain do not know the rules of the game.

@@ppen8359 the average person spending would be on local economy (food , groceries , clothes, gas , education etc) . now tell me , what would a boss with $30m paycheck would spend on . how does it improve the economic activity compared to the average employee . the boss can pack & leave the country if they are squeezed too much , what about the average person ? they pay taxes , spend on local economy , get meager pay . they have no stake in the company or governance .

Japan being the pioneers in the industry with high performance and longer working hours of the employees. What goes unnoticed is the mental health of the people there. Skyrocketing suicide rates and death from work. A lot of these "successful people from work" prioritizes work over other things in life which is their motive and that's good for them but not all people wants to have this hustle culture, some would live life paycheck to paycheck and wants to live life in their own terms "peacefully"

I'm 52 and i've avoided hard work all my life. It's not that i can't work hard, i just don't want to. I'm retired and pretty wealthy but i didn't get rich by working hard. I just have investments and peace of mind which makes me powerful. None of the tech billionaires worked hard. they simply got lucky. I got lucky too i guess cause my investments came through for me. peace

Awesome Video 🔥 Indian employees are constantly overworking but they don’t receive the reward of their hard work. Also Indian companies should encourage workers to prioritize mental health and give them resources if they’re struggling.

When i was in India. I worked according to my salary. If i get a good salary i worked more. But if i get shitty salary i worked according to that. Whatever company i joined i made sure i put a clause in the agreement saying DONT BOTHER ME AFTER OFFICE HOURS. Some companies agreed and some don't. I thought thats the best way to stop ourselves getting exploited. Finally when i moved to USA, I felt like im coming out of a jail.

Another Good one, Saran - I have done a video on Meritocracy (a small Telugu KZbin channel) and mentioned the book Tyranny Of Merit by Michael J Sandal. Your video reminded me of the book - the success of a Person, institution, or even a Sport and Sportsperson - which is multifactorial - realizing this makes the meritocratic people humble and the culture more just.

"The process starts with a job description that doesn't match what the HR explains after the second interview. Interviews never start on time, and HR keeps asking uncomfortable personal questions. There's no clear salary structure, and they randomly call telling me to prepare for the next round. This is the ridiculous reality of the corporate world, and it's happening to me all the time."

Great video. One issue is that you mixed entrepreneur prep talk with employee prep talk. Employees doesnt have to work 80 hours like Musk said, but if you are making a company then you should be ready for it, because it is a big responsibility and the company earning is directly proportional to their productivity. Employees trade time for money. And they have little or no stake in the company. So should only work for what they are paid for

I live in a big industrial city and here most industrial workers make RS. 12-15000/- while working under harsh conditions such as long hours and extreme temperatures. Moreover, most work is now outsourced to vendors, so they don't get any additional benefits like medical, pf, or leaves.

I worked 12hrs a day for a year in the end I got released from that client and its project just because I opened my mouth and confessed to scrum master that manager is giving task to 4 people only and later distributes the work credit to pending 20 lazy people in the project report after this I managed to get a new project and now I do my entire week work in 1 day and relax my skills have been demotivated, I guess many companies have reached the top with good employees and later fired that employee after work is done or cost is too much we all are expendables
