Another Hollywood movie about making movies in Hollywood with a bunch of Hollywood buddies. How is any of this relatable to moviegoers? Do these people not care about that aspect of the industry, ie. the audience?

Of the hundreds of movies that come out every year, one of these every few years is like a drop of water in the ocean. Whether you're taking note of everything come out is a different matter, obviously. But, especially for aspiring filmmakers, this kind of movie is, at bare minimum, interesting. Does that mean good? Definitely not. But there are so many fan service movies out every year that something this specific is really not worth being annoyed about.
