I was their original lightman / stage tech along with my Bros in Windsor Ontario that did their shows when they were unheard of. I,m so glad they persevered and kept grinding it out ;) Long live The Tea Party :)

This band is easily one of the most under rated bands of it's time. Just the complexity of the lyrics show the bands creativity, let alone how much talent the band has. Between them I don't think there is an instrument they can't play. Thanks for posting . I was lucky to see them play quite a few times.

Been my favorite band since I was 13, I decided this was the song to play at my funeral. Im 32 now, still want this at my funeral and seen them live once. I bawled when they played this song.

This song takes me back to a time in my life where i was soul searching for answers and feeling depressed with choices i had made. That was abt 15 years ago. Now i back thinking about my life again and choices i have made. And all the things i have lost. And the hurt i have suffered.

This is one of the only songs that can bring me out of darkness. The richness of the reverberating guitar arpeggios and the pounding of the toms like the beating of a heart ... somehow the song speaks straight through whatever is clouding my mind. It centers me, and I can start my life again. I remember the time I saw them at the Friendship Festival in Fort Erie, ON, Summer 2003. They started playing this song ... and it started to rain, almost right on cue.

I have listened, and admired "The TEA Party" for a long time, and these 3 lads are Canadian. They always wanted to appeal to North american audiences, and from outside cultures, as told musically within the song "Sister Awake" As far as I know, the 3 members have all parted peacefully, and are carrying out music production projects. They are 3 fine students of music, and I wish them well.

JIM MORRISON when in Toronto fathered a Child but nobody ever knew what happened to the kid, Apparently the long lost Kid became a Singer in a Band. Just Kidding, TEA PARTY are a great Canadian Hard Rock'n Roll Band and had some killer tunes, I'm glad to have seen alot of those 1990s Canadian Bands play back in 90's (some in small places) like GOB, TEA PARTY, I MOTHER EARTH, AGE OF ELECTRIC, OUR LADY PEACE etc etc.
