Funny how the 'Dragon' persona gets goaded into losing his hostage with insults from Francis Dolarhyde's childhood. In the end, the Dragon's great Becoming wasn't enough to fully separate himself from his human trauma and vulnerabilities.

He was just mentally ill. A sloppy serial murderer really. Lecter was in another category of serial killer altogether- more intellectual, more premeditated and you could almost say moral.

​@@gc99289 He had a soft spot for children, and that was about it. His victims were mostly people he found interesting, annoying or special in some way. I wouldn't say he was very moral.

I'll never understand why in the movies people stab once and then leave the blade. Anyone who knows anything knows to keep stabbing all over until the threat catches fire or changes shapes.

Cause he was shooting through the door while Dollarhyde was moving, and she shot him from like 10ft away while he was laying down.
