@@kmsbismark7045 oh really cause it is an 02 express that means it has the same frame and steering gear as a 02 Silverado. Meaning it has the same turning radius. So I could do it in a short bed Silverado as well. Long story short that trucks turning radius sucks.

@@1898nc2 1. According to wiki, the 02 Express vans use GMT600 frames and the 02 Silverados use GMT800 so not the same frame. Not sure about the steering gearbox. 2. Couldn’t find data on an 02 Express but considering the 2024 still use the same frame and have the same wheelbase we can use those specs -2024 Express has 135” wheelbase with 49.2 foot turning radius -2024 Tundra TRD Pro has 145.7” wheel base with 49.8 foot turning radius. Two things to consider. Lanes vary in width depending on location. Could be a narrower two lane road shown here than where you are. Also, couldn’t find specs but I’m pretty sure the TRD has a much bigger front end compared to your van so that would definitely complicate tight U-turns.

I’ve got a lifted crew cab 3/4 ton and could’ve made that. The key is driving out to the middle of intersection as far you can then starting the turn. Sometimes if the the person directly behind is doing a u turn as well though, they can be a bit confused lol.

Yeah, anyone who drives a pickup regularly just doesn’t turn like that, you can either start from the other lane if there’s no traffic, or I usually just hug the line and start with a very slight turn to the right before spinning the wheel left

That’s not terrible. I need at least 3 full lanes in my truck. With 2 lanes I have to do a 3 point turn. Or jump the curb. If it’s a small 3 lanes. Then I still have to jump the curb sometimes.
