SadlySunflower the problem with that is attempted rape is far harder to prove as most get put down as assault as you cannot prove the intent to rape without witnesses and assault carries a far lower sentence time and due to fake attempted rape charges people are far less likely to try to convict for rape over assault

@xNeariax4 жыл бұрын
I honestly find the police's initial reaction positively astounding. Now, our German police aren't generally bad (compared to the rest of the world), but I'm fairly sure if I went to them tomorrow with the premise that "my 17-year old didn't show up for dance class and hasn't answered her phone for the last 2 hours since", they'd tell me she probably just ditched it to hang out with friends and call them again if she doesn't resurface tomorrow. Shouldn't be like that, as minors "automatically count as missing" under those circumstances and police should expect the worst - but realistically, that's still probably what would happen in a lot of cases, at least with older teens like her.

In my opinion, i believe if we are to prevent murder cases or major crimes in general we have to watch EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE. Cameras everywhere so nobody is out of sight. I am born and raised in Tamworth and as you said, I still live here with my own little family. I remember this murder very well and it hit the town very hard, it was less than half a mile away from where Iived. I remember vividly the tent police use to cover crime scenes. Her body was found in undergrowth at the bottom of some steps leading to Belgrave dance studio, the steps lead up to a bridge and a dual carriage way ran underneath..... i remember every so often the tent being at the top and on full view. I have also told the story to my children on how easy these things can happen. It was such a sad story. I lived in Belgrave when I wS a kid and kids were always put playing happy and free and we were often around the dance studio listening to the girls rehearse, it was a great childhood but things have changed now. Heather Tell I will always remember and unfortunately Tamworth yet again have not long ago suffered another murder of a young beautiful 20 year old girl, killed by a so called male friend walking her home after a night, allegedly serially motivated and resulted in him murdering her. Isn’t it like that in a lot of small towns?
@hannahb64714 жыл бұрын
@@navebushes5717 ok when I say smaller crimes I mean not quite murder but still serious. I went to school with a guy who stomped on a guy's head and nearly killed him because he tried to steal the victim's phone and the victim refused to hand it over. Also, weekly stabbings weren't anything we were remotely surprised to hear about. That was on top a lot of burglaries, muggings and shop theft. Just this week the murderer of Keeley Bunker was jailed and that happened in Tamworth last year.

@D-me-dream-smp4 жыл бұрын
I thought those kids interviews had been proven fake/debunked. The story I heard was that the mother was separated from the father so she and her new partner “coached” the kids to say all this stuff to get back at people they didn’t like. It wasn’t an actual official video and some of the things they said were quite obviously false (ie describing locations that didn’t exist). When this was uncovered the mother and her partner absconded overseas. It may not be the case you are talking about though.

But this is an interesting watch for me bc I grew up hearing all of the rumours about her death. Some of the rumours are kinda twisted compared to what actually happened (one being that the killer cut her hair off and strangled her with it) Growing up there, and even now when I go home to visit as an adult, my parents aren't keen on me walking the dog through the Belgrave lakes because of this case.
