I absolutely love the SST series! I have the 8’6” medium heavy paired with a cold water low pro. It’s great for trolling, jigging, and even casting big spoons and such. I also have the 9’ heavy mates to an Okuma Citrix 364 I use for running big pike lures.

Jordan have you heard of the pwm for your battery/trolling motor? It will save battery life dramatically.

Its called a pulse width modulator. $25 ish on amazon. Basically its is connected in between motor and battery. Ex: my endura trolling has 1~5 speeds. When using at 1 it still uses just as much battery as it does on speed 5. But with the pwm it reduces that so 1 is one and 5 is 5. The pwm has a digital readout 0 to 100. I can troll all day on my 9' pontoon and not even use 3/4 of my battery. There are youtube videos on it. Youll be convinced.! Works on big boats too. Tight Lines my friend!🎣
