True, and it works even better in heavy rain, when otherwise you would have little visibility. Plus a fresh application also fills in all the tiny chips and scratches so that driving in the sun does not leave you with all that visible on the windscreen. Also makes bug splat less likely to stick.

This stuff works wonders. As long as your using it RIGHT. You need to use 2 towels while using this product. Sometimes 3 if they are getting too wet. Spray it on, wipe it off. Then go over with a dry towel to get any streaks out. You can use this on your paint, as long as your using a dry towel to buff it off.

This is the most valuable safety feature. Treat your wipers with the appropriate 303 type protective. They will last twice as long if they are rubber. When I am on the highway and there is a downpour, I am one of the few drivers that can see while slowing down. I rarely turn wipers on. Usually just enough to get the dust off.

I had one customer whose windshield was always so covered by bug guts, I don't know how he could see through it. He worked 2nd shift and took back roads 30 miles from the town we lived in and his windshield was always the easiest to clean. I asked him how and he told me he used rainx. That was 45 years ago and I've been using rainx since then. There aren't 1/10th the bugs today, particularly June bugs. I suspect it's because of farmers using insecticides ?

Rainx reduces the surface tension of the water to the glass. The beads of water are smaller. It blows off at freeway speeds, but not below that. You'll still need your wipers. It is really good at making it easier to scrape your windows of frost. But, when it's time to reapply, it does get hazy, and that's a bad deal when you have to drive into the sun, or into oncoming traffic.

Thank you. There are SO many airborne bugs where I live. It's literally so bad, I have to use the windshield fluid EVERY time I drive, and it doesn't clean off well.. it gives me hell! Windex works, but it makes the windshield grippy and sorta sticky cuz it doesn't work quite good enough! Definitely trying that spray

I never had to even use my wipers in my mustang with Rain-X. I only used the to clean off my windshield. I miss Sally:(

I've used rainex for years. I uused to drive around the Houston area with it really pouring without the wipers on. Works that good

The rain-x washer fluid is less work and works just as well. I dont even wash my cars, but i love a clean windshield.

Rain-X Spray Causes condensation streaks with my wipers and I followed the directions. Very terrible at night especially in raining conditions ironically enough...
