If you go to skye theres a fab pub across from the talisker distillery. We got a lock in there one night. The fire was roaring and some of the locals were playing songs on their instruments. Fantastic place.

My dad drove his campervan a few years back from cleethorpes up round coast of scotland down round Wales until he had a heart attack in swansea in back of his van early morning n some euro footy fans heard him n got helo. The walk to that village is about 25 miles - the roads stop that far from it. It's a slog to walk there, ferry is certainly the best option!! The cars in the village are brought there by ferry.

Mate I know exactly how you feel, me and my brother walked there a couple of years ago, it was shut for refurbishment. GUTTED. We found a little brewery just up the road bought a couple of beers and did the same as you, sat on the bench outside and licked our wounds.

There is a pub called the Clahaig Inn, It is located in the Glencoe Valley, just off the main road. Well worth a visit its my top highland pub, sit outside and enjoy your pint among the mountains 🗻 🍻

I'm from Fort William and there's a pub in Mallaig called The Steam Inn you should've checked out. I used to gig in there years ago and had some wild nights in it. There's also Saucy Mary's in Skye, fantastic pub.
