Oh my goodness Ben, this was an utter belter. I'm not going to shoot real estate but what I have learned from this video is utterly transportable to landscapes and my own KZbin process. This has genuinely been the most helpful and informative video that I have seen in 2024 - THANK YOU! Just excellent!

Ben, congrats! This is certainly the best tutorial/guide or the "How To" about real estate video and photography, period. Amazing explanations from start to finish, the do's and dont's - remarkable work! A piece of anthology about Real Estate videography.

That's some specific SEO right there! Great video Ben. Have you ever seen anyone fly drones through properties for smooth POV footage? I see it a lot for restaurant promotional videos on Google maps...

Thanks Gordon - I have seen some POV drone footage and it looks amazing. I drone keeps everything horizontal and the subject avoidance would most certainly have to be disabled as it won’t go anywhere near walls or door openings. I have yet to crash a drone* hence keeping it safely switched on :-)

Very kool to see the BTS on a real estate video like this. Nice video. Love that property!

Cheers Brian, I think that the BTS is often more interesting than the final photo/video/product. Glad you enjoyed the video

I am not trying to spend your money, honest, maybe you need to enter a few more competitions to win a one wheel 😂 happy to hear that you enjoy the video and hopefully took something away from it to apply to your own videos.

Thanks Ben for such a great video; I will take all your advice to heart. I did a real estate video about a month ago and realize I’ve got to practice more. I’ve got two great cameras for video, an Osmo Pocket 3, a SmallRig tripod and fluid head (an economy one but it works well), a Neewer motorized slider, a drone, and an older Ronin gimbal so I just need to practice. I’m using Final Cut Pro and find it to be pretty easy to use. The video you made is excellent, being nice and smooth and with pleasant music. Well done.

Hi Clark. It is good to here which genres you are focused on, and you have all the right equipment to make a fantastic video. I am also using Final Cut, since last summer when I switched to Mac, and it handles the video files really well. I could have made a better, I believe, if I wasn’t distracting myself making a KZbin video at the same time, but I love a challenge! It is a really difficult genre to master, and I wouldn’t say that I have mastered it at all, but I am happy with the results considering I am working solo.
