So whats nice about zerg, is that your larva can stick around, and larva used to be impossible to kill, anyways, if you have a advantage combat, like mutas again, sometimes stopping any production during a base trade, can help when yoruy defending, and then you select all your larva and make drones when the attack subsides. Contamination is 21 second production and researc hstopping. So, every contamination is a probe.... Now you will encounter more army, but, you can contaminate all the worker production buidlings over and over, I think its like 48 seconds, but if you have 5 overseers, you chain cast on worker buidlings, you end up wit ha probe lead, opponenet hsould end up with a offset military lead, which you will have a slight re arc, towards and equal miltiary lead, but early game, this creates a lot of function timing issues, effecting income, delaying probes early is rather funny, and if you can cycle in delaying worker count, you can easly as zerg get, 10 -20 workers ahead, and easily defend with an army, IE tanking zerg play is not used very oftne since most peopel paly theme of flooding, but over seers also can grant vision... if you force out one missle turret, pretty much get eh cost of the overseer back, except the gas, but that doesn't matter. Its easier to rotate overseers into halting owrker production then research, althoug hresearch is good its often, stationed between nat, and main, making it more of a risk where rss gather points are perimeter allowing overseers to move in and escape, with upgrade speed, whammy. and overlords can take a lot of damage from turrets, except.. spore crawlers do a lot, but overseers are pretty tanky for their cost.

I love how complimentary Uthermal is when he loses. Always gives his opponent the benefit of the doubt and credit. When I win games on ladder often I some kind of toxicity which is weird in a 1v1 game where you can't blame anyone else. It's weird when toxic people come up against their own inadequacies they would rather blame you for trying to win against them than accept they didn't have the ability to win the match. People flame is you cheese, people flame if you hold their cheese, people flame if you use spellcasters and outplay them, people flame if you harass them too much. I feel sorry for these sad people that play ladder in a 1v1 setting and get toxic. You honestly can't get more butthurt at your own failure.

"they would rather blame you for trying to win" this is so true. I never understood how this makes sense. Of course I'm trying to win. It's a competitive game. Why is that a bad thing? Were you Not trying to win? If so, why are you upset you lost?

Spine rush against Protoss definitely worth testing more. I do think you should keep in mind that your second Protoss opponent also misplayed pretty severely, allowing you to break his natural really easily. I recall in one of your Proxy Hatch to GM videos, you played against a 6k NA Protoss who went for Cannons into Robo and held pretty convincingly (the map had a ramp tho). At 4 minutes upgrade to lair during one of your Hatchery rushes and the follow up is further psychological damage, with overseers. COnstantly stopping production, after you have impede their natural. LMAO. Only need one, but two would be good. three you can should a building down for over a minute, lmao
@gskills55 Жыл бұрын
It was an uneventful loss but I'm glad the first game happened. Ling aggression + banelings is a pretty hard counter to any lair cheese when scouted, and it is how all of my low master league games would end if I tried to do ling drops. I was constantly wondering why I didn't see that happen to uthermal more. Ling drops should never work in zvz.

No creep spread, no banelings, you shouldn't play zerg aside from you starting the zergling drop trend or doing mass hydra or mass muta you just don't have the flexibility to play zerg, stealth would own you you barely ever make an overseer's or spores and when you do you always lose them and take too long to replace them. maybe you could go back to basics and do queen walks to help you learn why creep is important.

it's so weird how marc will sometimes grossly underestimate how badly he traded. like in this first game he was thinking it might still be okay after the first round of trades when his opponent escaped with most of the drones whereas he himself had to trade with them to kill the zerglings
@bruh-xp9zf Жыл бұрын
Trading drones for zerglings is better than losing every drone, and he literally goes and immediately acknowledges that he's in an extremely bad position. He could have just immediately lost right there. Edit: also, he's generally an optomistic person anyways
