Having a bit of an OCD problem I actually remade the relay brackets. So what you see in the video is just a proof of concept !

Mark, that’s really funny. I built exactly the same system for my Mexico 2 years, same relays, same custom bracket fitted into the doors in order to convert the system with new 2 wires motors… The system is still on original Ducellier switches.

Good job! We put the Release under the Centerconsole . In that way nobody understands the wiring. I have made a Wiering drawing. Like to send it. Best regards Michael. ( that’s keeps the switches still alive and the motors like the power…. And give speed

It continues today, I have a 2002 spider (4200) and whenever I leave the car unused for a few weeks the window switches become intermittent. They slowly improve with use, though one is never 100%. Not really possible to dismantle and clean though and very expensive to replace..

I think it’s just what they are like. My hunch is that it’s not the switch but the body control ECU . It’s certainly not my specialty so I wouldn’t want to say anything more. But the switch gear all looks a lot like the FIAT Punto .

Ducellier switches with 2 wire motors requiring relays to keep the original switches?

Yes but it’s a little more complicated as I think that there are more than one type of Ducellier switch . I’m using a two relay system but it only works on one type of switch. I’m thinking that you might need a third relay for some switches.
