I remember when that commercial aired, and while I personally wasn't super bothered by it, I can see why someone else would. One of the main problems in this country is that people get away with offensive words, actions, and implications, and society would much rather defend the offender than think about what it is like on the receiving end. It's just find the token person of supposed offended party to also excuse it rather than confront it. It is not that our society is too sensitive, and there is nothing wrong with being sensitive, it is just that we don't consider the receiving end at all.

Any publicity is good publicity to a lot of corporations. They knew the commercial would get people talking and that's all they cared about.

If you look at it..it's actually criticising heterosexuality...Joy is right at 2:16. I'm gay, and this ad is not homophobic at all. It IS hard not to feel sensitive about things like this but we can't overreact either. The GLBTQ community is too sensitive sometimes.

Love Rosie no matter her liberal stance and the gay thing is going overboard on every little thing! My friend who is a gay man thought it was stupid. I’m just so tired of everyone attacking everyone else’s views! Don’t get me wrong…I’m a Christian and the gay lifestyle for me is out and I have no inclination toward women in that way, however my best girlfriend is a gay man.
